Third Week in April, 2008

By Milky Way Maid

The Mercury/Sun pair moves into Taurus later this week; Happy Birthday, Taurus, and I am sure that you will get more cards and phone calls than usual this year. Write out your plans for the year Friday, because you can totally rebuild your life just as if your were building a house. Your strength is in what you produce yourself. PS to all - Venus squares Mars end of the month; sexual tension or attraction builds so check who registers on your romance-meter. PPS ALERT: Wed. am. Count your change, because the gremlins can lose track of your money.

Readers can follow not only their Sun sign horoscope but also the sign of their Ascendant for further clues to how your week will develop.

ARIES - March 20-April 19 - Monday afternoon you enjoy a break in your routine, such as a swim after work, or taking your camera along on a walk or jog. The Sun conjunct Mercury early Wednesday makes the phone ring off the hook; remind yourself to remain professional in asking callers to hold, etc. And check your schedule before promising to meet with someone! Someone at work may give a referral to a great hairdresser.

TAURUS - April 20-May 20 - Mercury enters your sign on Thursday, followed by the Sun on Saturday, so call and invite friends over for a relaxing coffee. Friday is terrific for drawing up your goals for the year, or for inking a production company’s incorporation. You can rebuild your life from scratch, ‘recycling’ all you have learned from life experiences into a brand new package.

GEMINI - May 21-June 20 - You could receive some welcome news about financing your company or its plans for growth. Or maybe an expected layoff gets a reprieve instead. In any case, if you are in an electronics or communications field, your job outlook is better than you might think. The North Node conjunct Neptune in the 9th House can mean a very fortunate beginning to a course of study, or a breakthrough in a national forum for getting your ideas in front of the public.

CANCER - June 21-July 22 - You’ve hardly known what to do with your burst of energy lately. You’re up early and can’t get to sleep at night. Working off some of that edge at the gym helps, but calmly discussing issues at the family meeting about members not holding up their end is needed. Ask for others to pitch in over Wed. supper, and insist each child learn how to make at least one dish. The kids need to learn bachelor/bachelorette survival skills, and you need some time to work on your own program.

LEO - July 23-Aug. 22 - The 13th-14th may be your best days this month, since the Moon is in your sign. A long-distance chat Monday evening is a pleasure, especially with an Aries pal. The Sun and Mercury entering your 10th House puts your entertainment skills back in the spotlight; offer to emcee public fundraising or other local events. Helping others to shine provides an unusual thrill for you, one that I think you will enjoy enormously.

VIRGO - Aug. 23-Sept. 22 - The Moon is in your sign from early Tuesday thru the end of your workday Thursday, making you more focused and productive. Your powers of analysis are heightened about 11 am Eastern Tuesday. A somber mood may overtake you at lunch, so distract yourself with the funnies or a puzzle. The Wednesday night exercise regime can end in an injury if you push yourself too far; use caution. Better to lift small weights while watching the rented comedy.

LIBRA - Sept. 23-Oct. 22 - The Moon is in your sign from Thursday evening, which looks good for a crafts or creative writing session, thru Saturday night. Friday your Sun and Moon oppose Venus; try to resist splurging. Instead, play music, try new hairstyles or get a trim, look thru your closet for reds and oranges. Sat. am get chores done in a hurry then dash to an alternative medicine session, such as acupuncture; you are certain to see an improvement. Spend the afternoon at a park concert or in creative outlets.

SCORPIO - Oct. 23-Nov. 21 - Your ruler Pluto trines the Sun and Saturn; consider creating your own production company, getting into a recycling or carbon credits program, and/or developing a master plan for remaking your life. All of the above are possibilities. Pluto has also exited your 2nd House of finances and entered the 3rd House of neighbors, messages, relatives; don’t be surprised if you revisit the old hometown and see everything changed; relatives may pass away or relocate; you finally find out what data needs to be corrected (such as an erroneous credit report).

SAGITTARIUS - Nov. 22-Dec. 21 - Uranus in your 4th House of family issues has meant an estrangement from some members. Now Mars is going to trine that Uranus, meaning you could be in for legal hassles if you have been unable to leave each other alone. Stop now before it costs you more than it’s worth. The North Node conjunct Neptune in the 3rd House brings unexpected news, more likely happy news than not.

CAPRICORN - Dec. 22-Jan. 19 - A local troupe or school puts on a very enjoyable theatre production, which may even inspire you to donate funding or a scholarship. Your spouse needs an outlet for frustrations, so offer to pay for a club membership or install a treadmill at home. Offer the kids a chance to work off their obligations to you by cleaning the garage or attic (and those that live away from you can pick up the ‘stuff’ you’ve been storing for them all these years).

AQUARIUS - Jan. 20-Feb. 17 - Monday night listen to soothing music or relax with some creative outlet. Working with the hands or even writing/journaling help you work out questions about who you really are inside. Personalize a new home, plan the flower bed, paint the kitchen. You may suffer a few aches and pains, but nothing a heating pad can’t remedy.

PISCES - Feb. 18-March 19 - Your highest influence the past few years has been Uranian energy, the force of light and enlightenment. Resisting is futile! You have an opportunity in the near future to advance in regards to freeing your mind from the societal brainwashing we all received in childhood. Read books and visit websites that challenge your assumptions about everything. A weekend getaway to a New Age seminar looks favorable, too.
