Your Milky Way Horoscope June 28-July 4, 2009

By Milky Way Maid

Uranus makes a retrograde station on Wednesday morn at 3:37 am Eastern Time, at 26 degrees Pisces. Note any contacts to natal or progressed planets or angles. It is on my Part of Fortune and an asteroid, so I will let you know if anything transpires. Electronic devices may be balky so back up your computer files and be cautious about opening email attachments. Stations are not necessarily bad, they can make the planet very powerful if aspecting other transits or natal planets. Also, you could possibly have psychic moments when you know what someone will say or do, or get that strange sense of deja vu.

Venus squares Jupiter and Neptune on Wednesday night and then jumps into Gemini early Sunday. That Venus is a busy gal. I would not sign any papers or even bother listening to any sales spiels on Wednesday. On the other hand, it may be good for soliciting donations for a charity or social cause.
The Moon opposes Mars on Thursday night; this is a lousy time to start any project so don't. It will be hard to muster the energy or support for your idea.

Mercury opposes Pluto 11:29 am Eastern on Sat., in the first degree of Cancer/Capricorn. Check out the national and international news that morning for significant events and announcements. Pluto rules government control, evolution, the masses, investigations, pooled resources like insurance or mutual funds, intergenerational issues and much more. Mercury is of course travel and communications.

Readers can follow not only their Sun sign horoscope but also the sign of their Ascendant for further clues to how your week will develop. Also note: some aspects are exact on a weekend but may find opportunity for expression on the Friday or Monday nearest the exact aspect.

ARIES - March 20-April 19 – Your spouse or partner takes the spotlight on Tuesday, with the Moon putting a silvery halo on him or her. You are not used to being Numero Dos, but remind yourself that your turn comes in due time. Mercury's dynamic aspects on Wednesday energize your travel and communications, and you may enjoy visiting with friends in the area. Perhaps you call (Mercury) to arrange a visit later, after Venus enters your solar third house of relatives, visits, and travel next Sunday.

TAURUS - April 20-May 20 – Wednesday can be difficult but also present opportunities when Venus in Taurus squares Neptune, Chiron and Jupiter in Aquarius, your solar tenth house. If your career involves charitable projects or social causes, this can be a good time to make a pitch, altho you will certainly have your work cut out for you. Mars in Taurus opposes transiting Moon on Thursday evening; this does not favor new projects at all or anything having to do with the public. Mars in Taurus is a rather poor placement and can make you rather combative.

GEMINI - May 21-June 20 – Venus enters your sign next Sunday morn, bright and early at 4:23 am Eastern. You may wish to spruce up your appearance in some way the first week by visiting a beauty salon or adding colorful accessories to your wardrobe. Venus also brings gifts and freebies, and not just because it is your birthday. Hey, sign up for birthday club memberships at your fave restaurants for a free meal, or free coffee at your cafe. Your best day this week is Thursday, due to the trine of transiting Mercury in Gemini to transiting Neptune, Chiron and Jupiter. Communications and travel can be inspiring (Neptune), and you can reach people deep down with the need for sharing and charity.

CANCER - June 21-July 22 – You are most active this week when the Moon is in another cardinal sign, Libra, from Sunday till Tuesday, but most comfortable when Moon is in water sign Scorpio from Tuesday till Friday. So get your chores out of the way early in the week and plan to sit by the pool or lake during the second half. Mercury in Cancer opposes Pluto in Capricorn midday Saturday; you can get into a real tug-of-war with your spouse but wouldn't you rather focus your energies on something more constructive? You may also enjoy research or reading a good murder mystery novel.

LEO - July 23-Aug. 22 – Wednesday's Gemini Moon is sextile your natal sign, and so the Moon's trines to heavy-duty Jupiter, Neptune and Chiron reflect light back on you. You and/or your spouse can be quite inspiring figures to others this week, whether you are involved in charitable functions or other projects in the public eye. While you love, and I mean LOVE the bright and noisy fireworks, this year's Moon in Sag square to Saturn on Saturday does not put you in a happy mood. Perhaps your children's worries are affecting you, too. You can turn that around and be quite the entertainer, taking their minds off their problems.

VIRGO - Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – The Moon is in Virgo as the week begins until Sunday afternoon. You could wake up Sunday in a creative mood, since the Moon trines Venus 4 am Eastern, and also is inconjunct Jupiter-Neptune; feel free to indulge your muses or just rearrange the furniture. You may also wish to adjust your health regimen. The Moon opposes Uranus at midday so appliances or computers may act up, or your partner may upset you. It is a passing mood, so shake it off. On Saturday you may have to maintain discipline with your kids running around during July 4 observances, but that's what moms are for, right?

LIBRA - Sept. 23-Oct. 22 – The Moon is in Libra from Sunday afternoon till Tuesday night. Sunday night the Moon squares Pluto in Capricorn; you may feel resentful about home and family (your solar fourth house); perhaps family members pry into your affairs too much, or are too controlling. Monday's square to the Sun in your solar tenth house makes the work week hard to get started with. A difference of opinion may arise between you and the boss so choose your words carefully. Tuesday goes better, with the Moon trine those Gemini and Aquarius planets. You are hot today, and your communications skills are never better.

SCORPIO - Oct. 23-Nov. 21 – The Moon is in Scorpio from Tuesday night till Friday night. Uranus makes a station Wednesday morning in your solar fifth house of fun, sports, and creativity. If speculating, it is possible to receive a bit of a windfall tho that depends on your natal planets. Uranus is comedy so it can mean you indulge in a laugh-fest, renting out Three Stooges or other comedy collections. Also on Wednesday, the Moon trines Sun in Cancer; you may feel drawn to water or just have deep reactions to discussions of legal cases or in college classes. The Moon makes an easy sextile Thursday to Saturn; you are disciplined and can check off lots from your 'to do' list. Do a favor for an elderly person and add to your karma balance.

SAGITTARIUS - Nov. 22-Dec. 21 – The Moon is in Sag from Friday night till the following Sunday night. You may not be in your usual festive moon this holiday weekend, perhaps you feel weighed down by work or family 'stuff', or maybe the fireworks show is not as extravagant as last year's. So what; we still have the free show, the cotton candy, the sparklers, and cookouts, so what's to complain about? Sag is ever the optimist but you may have a work at it a bit this weekend. Best day is Tuesday, with its air trines involving Moon, Mercury, Jupiter and Neptune. This is especially true if you work with a partner and can split duties when doing presentations or the like.

CAPRICORN - Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – Sunday night Moon in Libra squares Pluto in your sign; you enjoy a nice mystery novel or perhaps some personal research turns up a rich lode of information. Monday can bring conflicts with a spouse or partner but it is a passing mood, do not base any decisions on what is really nothing at all. Tuesday's cardinal Moon in Libra helps you accomplish a great deal regarding money issues. All that work might be undone the next day, tho: Children may cost you a bit of cash Wednesday; I know they are always expensive but something unexpected comes up this week.

AQUARIUS - Jan. 20-Feb. 17 – Your best day this week is undoubtedly Wednesday when the Moon in sparkling, flirty Gemini trines your planets. Your children and artistic projects meet with public approval, even though sales (Venus) may be disappointing. You may have to throw something in on the deal to make the sale, or promise to donate a portion of proceeds to a charity. Your ruling planet Uranus makes a station this Wednesday morning also; you could possibly have psychic moments when you know what someone will say or do, or get that strange sense of deja vu.

PISCES - Feb. 18-March 19 – You will be most comfortable with Moon in Scorpio this week from Tuesday night till Friday night. Thursday is best with the sextiles to Saturn in Virgo; you can be uncharacteristically industrious and get a great many chores done. Friday can be a bit trying with the squares from the Moon to the Aquarian planets; perhaps you might be able to visit relatives in the hospital or other shut-ins, and this can bring you lots of brownie points, good for karma (and that plus a buck fifty gets you a cup of coffee). ;~)

Your Milky Way Horoscope June 21-27, 2009

By Milky Way Maid

The Sun enters the sign Cancer on Sunday at 1:46 am Eastern Time, marking when day and night are of equal lengths. We call this the Summer Solstice, when Sol (the Sun) stands still in the sky. This year it is marked by a Venus-Mars conjunction in equally fertile Taurus at 9:09 am Eastern, which in turn trines Saturn early Monday . It is possible that this solstice will inspire people to contract a marriage with their significant other. Saturn is good for marriage; it sets a boundary around the loving couple, Venus and Mars, and warns others to respect the boundary. Politically, it will be discouraging for advocates for same-sex marriage as those who define (Saturn) marriage as between a man and woman (Venus and Mars) will force their definition on others.

The Solstice on Sunday is followed in short order by a New Moon at 1 degree 30 minutes Cancer, at 3:35 pm Eastern. The Sun and Moon oppose Pluto, but this is eased a bit by all the sextiles from Moon to Saturn, Venus, and Mars. Pluto is evolution among other things; evolution as an individual, as a species, as a family, and on physical, emotional and spiritual levels. Pluto in Capricorn is Big Business; the Moon (public) opposing it will mean greater public demands for restriction or even dismantling of Big Businesses. This will likely relate to the restrictions being placed on executive pay for companies that accept government bailout funds, but I think public sentiment could spread to larger issues of why are we accepting such a concentration of wealth and power among such a small fraction of Americans?

Readers can follow not only their Sun sign horoscope but also the sign of their Ascendant for further clues to how your week will develop. Also note: some aspects are exact on a weekend but may find opportunity for expression on the Friday or Monday nearest the exact aspect.

ARIES - March 20-April 19 – The lights enter Cancer this week, activating the next cardinal point on the zodiac. Cancer is your solar fourth house of home and family, so your home becomes the focus for the season, and you love inviting people for cookouts or even holding tag sales. Tuesday may be your best day of the week, as sextiles to the Cancer Moon are nurturing and welcoming. You may experience an addition to the family in some way, though not necessarily a baby. You might host a visitor, or a attend a relative's wedding.

TAURUS - April 20-May 20 – Mars and Venus are conjunct in Taurus this Sunday; see notes above. Your energies will be high, and you will be in love with life. The activation of Cancer, your solar third house, can have you buzzing around your neighborhood, increase the volume or importance of communications, bring relatives back into contact, and open doors with neighbors. Put a priority on networking for fun and profit. You may also find yourself gravitating towards bodies of water for restful contemplation or recreation. It may be worth it to you to install a whirlpool tub in your home for some healthful water therapy.

GEMINI - May 21-June 20 – The Moon is in Gemini from the previous Saturday till midday Monday. The Moon is conjunct Mercury, which also squares Saturn, forcing you to slow down and consider your words first before speaking. Monday could be a smashing day for you, will trines all over. Moon trines the huge Jupiter-Neptune conjunction in Aquarius in your solar ninth house, so I hope your schedule includes being on campus, or in a courtroom where you see an inspiring victory for human rights and other related legal issues. The Moon square Uranus the same day can bring surprises, even shock, but also a chance for new insights. But take care with electrical power, too.

CANCER - June 21-July 22 – The Moon joins the Sun in Cancer at midday Monday till midday Wednesday. See notes above about the New Moon Monday. Be aware of how you view the world. Do you imagine the world is full of malevolent forces intent on your (or our) destruction? Be careful what you invite into your reality. Own your own power; use prayer or affirmation to birth your vision of a brighter future. The opposition to Pluto is eased a bit by all the sextiles from Moon to Saturn, Venus, and Mars. You draw strength from and celebrate family ties and family history. Friends marry, and you attend the wedding with joy.

LEO - July 23-Aug. 22 – The Moon is in Leo from midday Wednesday till midday Friday. Wednesday can bring an adjustment to your work schedule or health regimen; it is a chance to make them in closer alignment to your real needs for balance in your life. You get challenged on Thursday as the Moon squares Mars and Venus in stubborn Taurus; this looks like an intractable situation is not going to yield to your enormous charms just now; best not to beat your head against a wall. A spouse's shopping spree on Friday knocks you loopy; take away his or her plastic ahead of time.

VIRGO - Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – The Moon is in Virgo from midday Friday till the following Sunday. The first aspect is a trine to Pluto in your solar fifth house. Perhaps you welcome a new addition to your nuclear or extended family. Perhaps you develop an improved technique in your creative expression, or toss out all you've done so far. Recall that Michaelangelo scrapped everything and started over again on the Sistine Chapel. Don't be surprised if you are in a dour mood early Saturday, with the Moon's conjunction to Saturn; you will read neutral messages and real bad things into them. Fortunately Saturday ends with a trine to Mars in Taurus, when you can perhaps enjoy the earthy delights of the garden, cooking or music.

LIBRA - Sept. 23-Oct. 22 – If the Venus-Mars conjunction in Taurus on Sunday aspects natal planets, this is a great spur to creative expression, too, especially if inspired by a beautiful 'muse' that you're in love with. Monday features a trine from Moon in Gemini to Jupiter-Neptune in Aquarius, making a grand trine to your natal planets. This is so auspicious for communications and creativity; if you write, then buckle down to it. The Venus-Mars conjunction is again contacted on Friday by aspect to Moon in Leo; allow a friend to check what you've done or hold an informal reading.

SCORPIO - Oct. 23-Nov. 21 – Your still waters are stirred by Tuesday's Moon in Cancer with its sextiles to Saturn and Mars-Venus. Saturn helps you stick to the task, Mars gives you abundant energy, and Venus gives loving inspiration. Working in partnership will be especially productive that day. Wednesday will have you editing or tweaking as needed. It also has a trine to Uranus in your solar fifth house of creativity; work can flow out in a sudden burst or series of bursts, often with touches of humor as Uranus takes his unique perspective on things.

SAGITTARIUS - Nov. 22-Dec. 21 – Monday you may thrill in the success of your partner. Sunday and early Friday are likely to be the least enjoyable days this week, but you could force yourself to get some things done nonetheless. Make that 'to do' list and plow thru it. Thurs.-Fri. could be interesting with Moon in compatible Leo and sextiles to Jupiter-Neptune; if you latch onto the inspirational energies of that aspect, you may make a wonderful showman or emcee.

CAPRICORN - Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – The most significant aspect of the week for you is Sunday's Venus-Mars conjunction in Taurus, trining your natal planets from your solar fifth house of creativity. Enjoy your children and sports, or possibly wager a modest amount on an event. Recreation will recharge your batteries and carry you through the week; Taurus rules golfing in particular so dust off those clubs. Your partnership is also symbolically recharged with the Sun and Moon ingress into Cancer, on Sunday and Monday respectively. Tuesday will be especially harmonious so schedule some quality time together.

AQUARIUS - Jan. 20-Feb. 17 – Children may be vexed on Father's Day on Sunday, but do not take it personally. Actually Monday is much for favorable for a harmonious gathering, so you might just set your own observance of the holiday for then. Thursday can be trying as everyone is pulling you in different directions, due to the squares of Moon in Leo to Mars-Venus in Taurus. It is however, an opportunity for everyone to express what they really want, so let them vent. On Friday, some compromises may be constructed based on what you have all learned.

PISCES - Feb. 18-March 19 – Water signs like you will feel most comfortable with the Sun ingress into Cancer, and the Moon the following day. The planets will energize your solar fifth house of recreation and creativity; enroll in a craft class or water aerobics sessions. It will feel like the whole city is wrapped up in the Venus-Mars conjunction in Taurus (your solar third house); plan on attending at least one relative's wedding this summer.

Your Milky Way Horoscope June 14-20, 2009

By Milky Way Maid

Jupiter stations retrograde on Monday, June 15 at 3:50 am Eastern, at 27 degrees Aquarius. Those with natal planets in late fixed signs are likely to be most affected. Stationary planets are quite strong and Jupiter is hugely influential anyhow, so I would expect the events of the day to be magnified in every way. The sign of Aquarius may indicate advances in technological matters, such as artificial intelligence. Jupiter rules law, higher education, religion, publishing and national politics; its conjunction with Neptune may be a factor in the recent low ebb in the fortunes of major newspapers.

Venus and Mars move toward their rendezvous on Sunday (Father's Day). It is in the fertile sign of Taurus; Venus will want comfortable surroundings, so Dad better take Mom to a nice restaurant. Readers may use this positive blend of male and female energies by making a ceremony of planting seeds in the veggie patch. Other options are of course balancing energies in the home with the addition of a pet of the appropriate gender.
COMING SOON: Articles and stuff on the coming 2012 solstice. What does 12-21-2012 mean for all of us?

Readers can follow not only their Sun sign horoscope but also the sign of their Ascendant for further clues to how your week will develop. Also note: some aspects are exact on a weekend but may find opportunity for expression on the Friday or Monday nearest the exact aspect.

ARIES - March 20-April 19 – The Moon is in Aries from very early Tuesday till Thursday morn. Aries will be revved up to sweep out the old on Tuesday; gear up for some heavy spring cleaning or garden work. A sextile to Mercury the same morning give you good manual dexterity; also you will be able to put youngsters to work helping out. On Wednesday morn, your momentum may extend into moving walls or dividers (Moon inconjunct Saturn). Thursday has easy sextiles all over from Moon to Neptune-Jupiter in Aquarius and also to the Sun in Gemini. You may be the facilitator or axis that allows air-sign-types to meet and exchange ideas.

TAURUS - April 20-May 20 – On Wednesday, Mars in Taurus trines Ceres in Virgo; you can make great progress in planting your veggie garden today. The Moon is in Taurus from Thursday morn till midday Saturday. On Thursday the Moon trines Pluto again; put on your detective cap and do research or dig for some metaphorical treasure. On Friday, Venus' day, the Moon is conjunct Venus at 9 am Eastern; you may be treated to brunch or receive some small gift or tip. The Moon conjuncts Mars an hour later; strong emotions wash over you so you may need to take a break to journal or otherwise process your feelings.

GEMINI - May 21-June 20 – On Wednesday, the Sun in Gemini trines first Neptune then Jupiter in Aquarius and also squares Uranus in Pisces; look for opportunities and insights. You can make discoveries (possibly online) and implement almost immediately for benefits to raise your profile locally or nationally. The Moon is in Gemini from midday Saturday till the following Monday. The Moon is inconjunct Pluto and conjunct Mercury; your interviewing techniques turn up interesting findings. This is a good time for any research or investigation.

CANCER - June 21-July 22 – The Moon-Venus-Mars conjunctions on Friday in your solar eleventh house of friends and groups gifts you with great times with friends. Don't pass up club meetings or other groups, as meetings can have an extra sparkle and energy. Even run-of-the-mill meetings can be fired up with the idealism of the Jupiter station even tho they do not make an exact aspect. You may discuss ways your group can be part of the new economy as we shed the old ways.

LEO - July 23-Aug. 22 – The Jupiter station opposite some natal Leo planets can be very positive, putting you in the public eye again. Don't expect immediate results as far as your agent being inundated with offers, because it could be that results are delayed till Jupiter goes direct again. But just do your thing and good opportunities will come. The Moon's passage over the upper, public side of your chart also tends to put you in the the public eye. The Moon, Venus and Mars conjunctions on Friday in your solar tenth house are especially good for your career.

VIRGO - Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – Your least productive days this week are likely to be Sun. night/Mon. Morn, as you are drawn to playing mom to your family. You are open to creative adjustments on Wed. morning, and a female may be the one to suggest successful tweaks to your system. Wednesday is also apt to be both stressful while gifting you with an opportunity to use your analytical and practical skills to make a sale. You are most productive on Friday, with a Moon-Venus-Mars trine to transiting Saturn and Ceres in Virgo.

LIBRA - Sept. 23-Oct. 22 – Jupiter's station in your solar fifth house can indicate a reversal in your creative forces and a loss of commercial outlets for your creative products, altho the actual station may be quite good for sales. You can use this period productively by retreating to your studio or painting in plein air. Aquarius may indicate a high level of technical expertise in producing your works, whether or not you use digital or other electronic assistance.

SCORPIO - Oct. 23-Nov. 21 – You of all signs may finally run into “the one” this week, especially on Friday when the Moon, Venus and Mars all gather in your solar seventh house of partners. Someone may catch your eye and be shrouded in a hazy glow. Jupiter retrograde in your solar fourth house of home and family may alter your plans regarding housing; look around for a better situation if your lease is up for renewal; perhaps a foreclosure situation will be averted, too.

SAGITTARIUS - Nov. 22-Dec. 21 – The Jupiter station sextiles your natal Sun this week. You are quite the bon vivant this week as you do the town and visit all your old haunts. The Moon-Venus-Mars in your solar sixth house of health bring good health and well-being; you might work off a favor (Venus) with some physical labor (Mars). Taurus there also suggests that working in the garden is very good for your health, even aside from the benefits of eating fresh food. Music can also sooth and boost your well-being.

CAPRICORN - Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – The Moon, Venus, Mars conjunctions in Taurus on Friday are in your solar ninth house of law-publishing-college-religion. Possibilities: You may meet a very desirable person at a college function; sales of your latest book could go extremely well; a legal case may come to a harmonious agreement. Jupiter's station in your solar second house can bring a spurt of income tho this may taper off rather quickly.

AQUARIUS - Jan. 20-Feb. 17 – Jupiter stations in your solar first house; you might be thrust in the public spotlight this week. Jupiter in the first also tends to make one gain weight rather quickly so if you fall off your diet regimen, just get right back on it. The Moon-Venus-Mars conjunctions on Friday fall in your solar fourth house of home and family; this sounds like an ideal week or weekend to schedule a family reunion. You may also have guests in the home, and since you are quite an open-minded host, your guest may be from a different culture.

PISCES - Feb. 18-March 19 – The Moon is in Pisces from Sunday till very early Tuesday. Sunday morning is fine for a brunch with friends as the Moon sextiles Mars and Venus in your solar eleventh house of Taurus. You will also find the need for discipline (Saturn) in regard to health (Ceres), this may mean you have doctor's orders for the near term. Monday evening you will probably want to run and hide from Uranus conjunct your transiting Moon and square the Sun in Gemini. Avoid upsets, repeat your mantra or affirmation to yourself, have a cuppa tea.

Your Milky Way Horoscope June 7-13, 2009

By Milky Way Maid

The Full Moon is on Sun., June 7 at 2:12 pm Eastern Time at 17 degrees 7 minutes Sagittarius. The last prior Moon aspect is a square to Saturn in Virgo, and the first aspect after full is an inconjunct to Mercury in Taurus, and a square to Uranus in Pisces. This is a hard Full Moon T-square, altho its impact is lightened by the fact that it is in mutable signs and most people will be able to make an adjustment to the energies of the period, and also because 'mutable' means its effect is more transitory. Healthcare issues (Virgo) and hospitals (Pisces) are likely to be in the forefront.
Mercury squares Jupiter on Wed. at 26-27 degrees of Taurus-Aquarius. It is possible you may 'lose your head' and go on a spending spree so lock up the plastic. Pent up consumer demand can bust loose after many months of caution, but make sure that what you buy is a good product and a good deal.
Mercury enters its home turf, Gemini, late Saturday. Rah! Communications quicken and sharpen, and replies fly back and forth. Good for taking a class or catching a lecture, as well as short trips.

Readers can follow not only their Sun sign horoscope but also the sign of their Ascendant for further clues to how your week will develop. Also note: some aspects are exact on a weekend but may find opportunity for expression on the Friday or Monday nearest the exact aspect.

ARIES - March 20-April 19 – Pallas entered your solar fifth house of fun and recreation; you might be even more of the fireball in leading groups to games or on tours. Your solar second house of money is activated this month with Venus and Mars both transiting there; expect to make a bit more money and enable you to pay off some debt (Mars). The Moon transits thru Capricorn late Mon.-Wed. Can bring more business. Saturday is the best day for asking a friend for a favor, or for collecting on one.

TAURUS - April 20-May 20 – Venus in Taurus trines Pluto in Capricorn in your solar ninth house on Monday; good news or a check may come from issues related to publishing or law. Tuesday is best if you want to introduce a new boyfriend to mom (or a nice Sunday brunch on the 14th); avoid Thursday at all costs! Hide your checkbook and plastic from yourself on Wednesday; that square from Mercury to Jupiter can be toxic to budgets. Friends and business associates are a million laughs that nite tho. Saturday afternoon is also prone to impulse shopping; besides you might miss an important phone call if you're out.

GEMINI - May 21-June 20 – On Wednesday an inconjunct from Moon to your Sun could call upon you to adjust your spending, or to pay attention to joint checking accounts. Better check to see if both of you recorded all checks written before writing another one. A Friday night date with hubby is harmonious (Moon trine Sun) and filled with 'happy talk'. Mercury enters your sign on Saturday and I bet you're glad. You've felt like everyone is talking so slow lately, hmm? Things will soon get up to speed. Vesta in the last decan of Gemini (till the nineteenth) may make you more private a person than usual, and also focused on safety.

CANCER - June 21-July 22 – This year your veggie garden might be in a community garden plot; I say that because Ceres is in your solar third house. Early Cancerians may have friends who get serious or even tie the knot, so plan on attending a few weddings this year. Ask friends for advice or recommendations on how to publish your own e-books or get a blog started (Mercury in your eleventh sextile Uranus in your ninth houses). The Moon transits the top of your solar chart this week, so expect to be in the spotlight at work.

LEO - July 23-Aug. 22 – The asteroid Pallas (or Pallas Athena) enters Leo on June 5. Pallas is quite a good executive and this will accentuate your own executive abilities. Your creative powers should also be enhanced with her energies here, even with a square to Venus and Mars in Taurus. She invented weaving and metallurgy, so perhaps you might try jewelry-making or textile arts. The Moon opposes Leo from Thurs.-Sat. which may put you in the public eye; more pressure can make it unpleasant tho on Thursday.

VIRGO - Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – Sunday's square from the Moon to Saturn in your sign can be either depressing or frustrating, or both. A nice mother-daughter chat on Tuesday night or Friday can lift your spirits. Mars and Venus in your solar ninth house can denote a dispute (Mars) in a legal setting, and either the costs or awards (Venus) ensuing from that. It can also mean you devour romance novels. Mercury and the Sun in your solar tenth house of career brings attention and opportunities to shine.

LIBRA - Sept. 23-Oct. 22 – Mercury and the Sun are now in your solar ninth house; perhaps you have a writing project that has been languishing, but now you return to it and get busy again. Anything ninth-house-y will get some light shone on it (legal matters get a hearing, publishing projects are reviewed, college plans get solidified or perhaps you graduate). Rely on a close friend with professional expertise to give you reliable tips on what you need to do. If you do not have a mentor, try looking around for someone to fill that role; it could become a very good and close friendship as well as a fostering role.

SCORPIO - Oct. 23-Nov. 21 – On Sunday the T-square affects your money houses and friends or groups; perhaps hubby objects to your club membership fees or vice versa. On Monday finances can change with the Moon squaring Uranus in your solar fifth house of fun and gambles; possibly a surprise (Uranus) win puts money in your pocket. The Moon's entry into your solar fifth house of fun on Saturday night puts you in the mood to play; a date or tickets to a play would suit you.

SAGITTARIUS - Nov. 22-Dec. 21 – The Moon is in Sag from Sunday till 4 pm Eastern on Monday. Sunday has a T-square with the Moon, then Saturn in Virgo, then Sun in Gemini. You will have to roll with the punches; fortunately all you Mutable signs are good at that. Another square to Uranus in your solar fourth house on Monday may mean a household appliance quits. Also sextiles to Jupiter and Neptune in Aquarius may bring help from a neighbor or close relative.

CAPRICORN - Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – The Moon is in Capricorn from Monday afternoon till early Thursday morn. Monday evening may be a good time for a real live treasure hunt, with its trine to Venus and conjunction to Pluto; even digging in the garden while planting your tomatoes may turn up a nice surprise. Tuesday features Moon trine Saturn; you are serious and keep your nose to the grindstone. A lovely surprise may in store late Wednesday; the trine to Venus in your fifth house and a sextile to Uranus in your third house may mean your kids and either a neighbor or another relative conspire to surprise you.

AQUARIUS - Jan. 20-Feb. 17 – The Moon is in Aquarius from early Thursday morn till Saturday afternoon. The Moon squares Venus and Mars in Taurus Thursday; don't be too harsh on a visitor to your home. Friday evening looks great for a nice visit with one of the kids (Moon trine Sun in your solar fifth house). Saturday morn finds you in a very magnanimous mood with Moon conjunct that altruistic Jupiter-Neptune conjunction. A square to Mercury in early pm does not favor shopping or trips; there's plenty of time for that any other day.

PISCES - Feb. 18-March 19 – The Moon is in Pisces from Saturday afternoon (5:32 pm Eastern) thru the weekend. The Moon's first aspect upon entering Pisces is a sextile to Pluto in your solar eleventh house of friends; perhaps you enjoy a deep conversation with a pal, or a visit to a New Age or mysteries bookstore together. Sunday has sextiles to Venus-Mars in Taurus so see if you can plan an outing or brunch with relatives or neighbors. Since the other mutable signs are affected by Sunday's T-square, you may be called on to pitch in and cover for a child or sibling.
