Your Milky Way Horoscope March 7-13, 2010

By Milky Way Maid

The Full Moon was this past Sunday, Feb. 28, at 11:38 am, at almost exactly 10 degrees Virgo. The Sun is conjunct Jupiter minutes earlier, with Venus another ten degrees away. The chart does not look so unusual, but some in the 2012 countdown community feel that this is a significant marker. The people at The 2012 Countdown dot com posted a recent reading in which they have channeled the words, “These energies will lock in place in ways that no member of humanity can understand. These energies will lock in place this unfolding. There is no way that The Dark beyond the moment of this full moon will be able to interfere with this process.” So if you are at all interested in being part of the continuing evolution of the human species and so forth, perhaps you might like to start reading the material on this website. Venus enters Aries on Sunday March 7 at 7:33 am. Arians might plan a visit to their local salon for a makeover or even enroll in beauty school. In relationships (ruled by Libra), Venus in Aries is a problem because it is both competitive and has trouble with asserting proper leadership. A positive Venus here is very active in proposing things to do and in organizing recruits. Venus here is very good at not only inspiring followers but in helping others to develop their self-reliance and individuality.

Venus at 2 degrees Aries opposes Saturn in Libra on Tuesday at 3:21 am. Aries really hates running into obstacles, and will try anything to get that obstacle to disappear. A frustrated Aries can stomp, yell, gripe and generally make everyone else as miserable as they are. In relationships, Venus-Saturn has to balance values with duty. Also there is the theme of lack (Saturn) of love/caring (Venus) in one's life. One needs to be strong enough, spiritually, to keep loving someone who at the moment is not loving you back. And one needs to love oneself first, before someone finds you completely worthy of loving. This transit can bring a blue day or just one where you want to vegetate at home.

Venus then squares Pluto at 5 degrees Capricorn midday Thursday. This square can signify obsession to the point where 'if I can't have you, then no one ELSE can have you either'. Protect yourself if you are involved with an obsessive person. Healthy relationships can grow and evolve under this transit into one that fosters deep spiritual growth. That these planets (Venus, Saturn, Pluto) are all in cardinal signs means that people affected will generally want to make changes NOW rather than next month or next year or never.

Mars goes in direct motion at last, at 12:09 pm Wed. March 10 at zero degrees, 18 minutes of kingly Leo. Sports will be especially affected, so that fewer upsets occur, and performers who were on a promising upswing before Mars went retrograde can resume their progress. Note alterations in top ten team lists and so forth.
Hey, Friday March 12 is so very unusual in that NO aspects are recorded for the day. If no natal planets are contacted either, it can be a very smooth and uneventful day for many of us. No progress either but that's OK.
Readers can follow not only their Sun sign horoscope but also the sign of their Ascendant for further clues to how your week will develop. Also note: some aspects are exact on a weekend but may find opportunity for expression on the Friday or Monday nearest the exact aspect. Times given are in Eastern Standard or Eastern Daylight Savings Time depending on the season.

ARIES - March 20-April 19 – Venus enters your sign Sunday morn and makes aspects all week. Contacts to heavy-duty planets like Saturn and Pluto ask (I mean demand) that you change and grow. You prefer to get the hard stuff over with (even if it means cutting people out of your life) so you can go back to your REAL life. Maybe what needs to be excised is an immature view that life is always going to go your way, because heaven knows it doesn't. Just get over it and focus on what is right and healthy and good in your life and relationships. Go to a pro for advice and counseling to fix what needs to be fixed.

TAURUS - April 20-May 20 – Your ruler changes signs this week and you might feel a different flavor to Venus this month. In Aries it is more impatient but very good at recruiting buddies for her latest adventure. Perhaps you feel frustrated when you want to try something new, or you yearn to have more freedom of action. Well, all in due time, Taurus, just start making your plans today and eventually you will build a foundation under those castles in the air. Best days this week are the Moon in Capricorn making sextiles on Tuesday.

GEMINI - May 21-June 20 - Use care when commuting to work early Monday under the Moon-Uranus square; be a defensive driver. Best days this week are when the Moon is in Aquarius Thurs-mid-Sat. Thursday's Moon-Saturn trine gives you the discipline to stick to chores. The lack of transiting aspects on Friday should give you leeway to shape the day to your best advantage. Knowing you, you might get that day to serve triple-duty as you multi-task your fingers off.

CANCER - June 21-July 22 - Venus enters Aries Sunday morn and makes aspects all week.

LEO - July 23-Aug. 22 – Venus enters compatible Aries Sunday in your solar ninth house of law, publishing, college and religion. It is possible that issues related to financial settlements will come to an end, and not in a way that is favorable to you. However, a trine to Mars on Sunday afternoon is excellent for competitive or romantic times. Hey, Leo, Mars in your sign goes direct midday Wednesday and glory hallelujah indeed. You will feel more like yourself and start to feel your physical energies are fully turned on once more. And where you might have been stubborn, you are now able to constructively assert your preferences and needs.

VIRGO - Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – The Moon is in your solar fourth house as the week begins. The Moon-Sun square mid-morning makes for friction between family members, so you may have to play referee. Mercury is conjunct Jupiter Sunday evening in your solar seventh house; excellent for finally getting your spouse to open up and talk to you! A Moon-Uranus square early Monday can snarl commuter traffic so be very alert and safety-conscious. The Moon in compatible Capricorn Tuesday makes nice, easy sextiles to Mercury-Jupiter in Pisces, favoring public appearances and sales presentations.

LIBRA - Sept. 23-Oct. 22 - Venus enters Aries Sunday morn and makes aspects all week.

SCORPIO - Oct. 23-Nov. 21 – Venus enters Aries, your solar sixth house of work and health, on Sunday and promptly makes challenging aspects to Saturn and Pluto. Work in a hospital setting may open up for you, especially if you are willing to work nights. Tuesday night features a Moon sextile to the Mercury-Jupiter conjunction in your solar fifth house of fun; be sure to attend a local shindig that offers fun or gambling or entertainment. Mars goes direct in Leo, your solar tenth house of career on Wednesday. Hallelujah, you finally get an interview or job offer.

SAGITTARIUS - Nov. 22-Dec. 21 – The Moon is in Sag from Sunday till midday Monday. The Moon-Sun square Sunday morning can feed a battle of wills, so ask yourself if it is really worth it. There is such a loving, energetic Venus-Mars trine in fire sign that afternoon, so take the children on an outing or play with them. It is easy to take the wrong turn on your Monday am commute so be alert.

CAPRICORN - Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – The Moon is in Capricorn from 12:13 pm Monday till very early Thursday. The Moon in Capricorn forms T-squares Monday with Venus and Saturn, then joins Pluto. Whew, this feeling of lack and the urge to throw in the towel with whatever is pretty overwhelming. If you can hang on thru the week and avoid impulsiveness, you can avoid a lot of heartache. Are you really ready to discard everything you have built up together? Tuesday is much more favorable for amicable discussion under Moon sextile Mercury-Jupiter. A counselor may offer wonderful insights and guidance.

AQUARIUS - Jan. 20-Feb. 17 - The Moon is in Aquarius from 12:42 am Thursday till midday Saturday. The Moon-Mars opposition in the wee hours Thursday can bring on health upsets or stomach upsets. Avoid alcohol, spices, argument and other irritants before bed. A trine to Saturn in the morning helps you stick to resolutions. A Moon-Venus sextile to your eleventh house brings a pleasant encounter with a woman friend or support from a club you belong to. Friday has no aspects so seize the day and make it run for you. A Moon-Neptune conjunction Saturday morn starts the day with a fuzzy head and poor sense of direction. Best to stay home and take care of routine matters.

PISCES - Feb. 18-March 19 - The Moon is in Pisces from 1:44 pm Saturday thru the weekend. The Moon is inconjunct Mars and then Saturn on Saturday afternoon. Make adjustments to health routines as needed; it is possible that you have to find what works best yourself, contrary to what your doc thinks is standard protocol. You really need to take back control over some aspects of your own life; possibly a supportive friend helps you find needed info or just gives moral support.
