Your Milky Way Horoscope June 8-14, 2014
By
Milky Way Maid
Dear
Readers-- Please visit the website of the National Blood Clot
Alliance at StopTheClot.org to learn more about blood clots and when
you might need to see a doctor about it.
Venus at 12 degrees
Taurus trines Pluto in Capricorn at 9:38 pm Sunday.
Venus with Pluto is very passionate, very fertile; so the word is
take extra birth-control precautions if you do not have plans to add
to your family. This is of course if these planets conjoin or aspect
NATAL or PROGRESSED personal planets. The trine could simply mean
that you become more intensely involved with person you are already
seeing/dating. There is some chance that congenital (Pluto)
conditions might be successfully treated, especially blood conditions
(Venus) and especially via gene or stem-cell (Pluto again) therapy.
Neptune at 7 degrees
36' Pisces goes Stationary Retrograde at 3:51 pm Monday. We
might not be proud of everything we do this summer, because it will
be all too easy to stoop to underhanded methods to get what we want.
Or we might not be proud of people that we prefer to look up to, when
their dirty laundry gets aired in public. On the other hand, Neptune
retrograde is probably ideal for taking extended vacations, because
one of the meanings of Neptune is holiday, in the sense of taking a
holiday from normal chores and duties. Also in the sense of taking a
trip to places where your niche in the scheme of things is nebulous
and fluid, because no one knows who you are or who you are related to
or any of that surface stuff.
Venus at 17 degrees
Taurus opposes Saturn in Scorpio at 12:09 am Friday.
Venus in good aspect to Saturn can polish up the raw ambition, so the
opposition (I would think) would mean that attempts to schmooze with
influential people falls flat, or you put your foot squarely in your
own mouth. You ask for kind advice, and you get the harsh truth
instead. You ask for what you feel you have worked for, and are told
no, you have not earned enough points or whatever to claim the thing.
At worst, you ask for love and you are turned down or rejected
outright. Oh this is a nasty transit, one that threatens to send you
to the ice cream freezer at the local grocery store.
Mars at 12 degrees
Libra squares Pluto in Capricorn at 8:34 am Saturday. Don't
be surprised if you run into a human bulldozer, someone who bullies
you out of his way and is terribly rude and blunt about it! Granted,
Mars in Libra might possibly be a bit more polite than I expect, but
you know how Libra is – you push them too far and then suddenly
they snap and declare war on you. It might be well to walk on
eggshells today.
We have a Full Moon
at 22 degrees Sag at 12:11 am Friday, after which the Moon promptly
goes Void-of-Course. Most
likely, Sag natives should refrain from ambitious plans this month,
lest all their efforts go for naught. Mutable signs should probably
stick to routine matters, although they should follow up on things
started before the Full Moon. Mercury, Saturn, Pluto and now Neptune
are all retrograde, which makes it even less likely that new plans
will get off the ground. Most of us will probably have to make
adjustments when original plans cannot be fulfilled on schedule or as
designed; in other words we may all have to improvise a bit!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Readers
can follow not only their Sun sign horoscope but also their Ascendant
for further clues to how your week will develop. NOTE: some aspects
are exact on a weekend but may find opportunity for expression on the
Friday or Monday nearest the exact aspect. Times given are in Eastern
Standard or Eastern Daylight Savings Time depending on the season.
ARIES
- March 20-April 19 – You are not normally a chaotic person
but there is probably at least a closet or file that you really need
to keep ship-shape this summer. One issue has to do with money in
some way; perhaps an old debt has completely slipped your mind and
now the loan comes due with interest. On Saturday you juggle
competing needs of career and spouse, not always successfully. If you
make a promise to spend the day together, by golly you need to follow
through on that; make some memories together!
TAURUS
- April 20-May 20 – Your ruler Venus is active this week so
expect your heartstrings to feel some tugs. Early in the week, your
Venus love-nature is looking to make things legal with your
inamorata. With the Neptune retrograde, friends may prove unreliable
or hard to reach all summer and fall. Friday does not favor asking
your romantic partner for any favors. Saturday night is much better
for spending some quality time with loved ones. Best day may be
Saturday in general, though you may be working hard – probably
something like cleaning out the garage.
GEMINI
- May 21-June 20 – Best day
of the week may be Sunday morning with the moon in compatible Libra;
personal contacts are pleasant and ideas flow readily. Career
ambitions may seem frustratingly elusive all summer and fall; that
will be the Neptune retrograde talking to you. Also with your ruler
Mercury gone retrograde as well, you may get frustrated that calls
are not returned or plans go awry; but you don't mind making second
or third voice-mails. Friday's Full Moon in Sag will accent
relationships with short-term partners and mates.
CANCER
- June 21-July 22 – Legal matters go into limbo all summer
and fall, but travel takes your mind off of unimportant matters. Best
day may be Monday if you are on vacation, but Tuesday if you are at
work. Don't try to make a friend into a romantic interest, or
vice-versa. Friday's Full Moon in Sag means that the month may see
you quite busy at work with short-term projects or working on ad-hoc
committees.
LEO
- July 23-Aug. 22 – It may be difficult to get answers from
insurance companies or investment firms all summer; make sure
everything is explained before you plunk down your money. Best day of
the week may be Thursday, when fire signs are energetic and
fun-seeking. Ambitions can be thwarted late in the week; make sure
you get the latest updates on the boss' personal details before
embarrass yourself by asking about the spouse who recently walked out
or died or something like that.
VIRGO
- Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – Mercury's retrograde bothers you more
than it does other signs, because you expect to be letter-perfect all
the time; but give yourself a break when you too prove to be merely
human. Partners in general can seem elusive or at least terribly
distracted all summer; you will have to be the organized one. Best
day of the week may be Tuesday night, when good times with boon
companions beckon. Friday may deliver a financial wake-up call, so
you may have to adopt new habits like saving important receipts or
send yourself bill reminders.
LIBRA
- Sept. 23-Oct. 22 – The Moon is in Libra from Sunday till
Monday morning. Sunday morning favors making some quality time with
loved ones, possibly planning or embarking on a long vacation
together. The Moon goes void in mid-afternoon, so stick to routine
matters. Coworkers may need reminders about meetings and projects,
and you may have to step in and organize their calendars etc all
summer. You may get bulldozed by a rude person Saturday morning,
although I know you can put them in their place sweetly.
SCORPIO
- Oct. 23-Nov. 21 – The Moon is in Scorpio from 6:38 am
Monday till midday Wednesday. You catch up with all the latest over
lunch with associates Monday. Monday night favors a night out at the
movies, possibly with the kids. Don't expect to find someone to trade
favors with Tuesday morning, but don't let that send you into a blue
mood. Things look up towards evening. You rather enjoy being out of
touch with the office while on holiday this summer. Friday does not
favor asking your romantic partner for any favors.
SAGITTARIUS
- Nov. 22-Dec. 21 – The Moon is in Sag from 11:23 am
Wednesday till midday Friday. The Moon makes no exact aspect
Wednesday, so just follow your own agenda. Thursday morning finds
your energy high and your friends ready for a bit of competition. You
enjoy a child's unique perspective Thursday afternoon. Friday morning
has a void Moon so stick to routine matters. A friend may get blunt
about demanding repayment of a loan, and you really should not have
let it go so long.
CAPRICORN
- Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – The Moon is in Capricorn from 1:04 pm
Friday into next Sunday. You may have difficulty reaching people by
phone or email Friday afternoon, perhaps they leave the office early
for the weekend. Don't try to make a friend into a romantic interest,
or vice-versa. Saturday morn can be rather um, challenging shall we
say? DO NOT waste time arguing with police or other authority
figures. Saturday night is perfect for memorable quality time with
loved ones, or for sports.
AQUARIUS
- Jan. 20-Feb. 17 – Best
day of the week may be Sunday morning with the moon in compatible
Libra; personal contacts are pleasant and ideas flow readily.
Be extra careful to check your bank statements and receipts all
summer, or retrograde Neptune could deliver unpleasant surprises.
Ambitions can be thwarted late in the week; make sure you get the
latest updates on the boss' personal details before embarrass
yourself by asking about the spouse who recently walked out or died
or something like that.
PISCES
- Feb. 18-March 19 – Your ruler Neptune goes retrograde this
week so expect that discipline will be forgotten. You will seem to
dither and be horribly unorganized this summer, but you are
determined not to worry about details while on extended holiday.
Friday may deliver a financial wake-up call, so you may have to adopt
new habits like saving important receipts or send yourself bill
reminders. You may have to get creative Saturday about evading
certain responsibilities.

Your Milky Way Horoscope July 28 - Aug. 3, 2013
By
Milky Way Maid
Venus at 7 degrees
Virgo sextiles Jupiter in Cancer at 9:42 am Sunday. Kind
transits between the two benefics are happy indeed. We feel more
buoyant and sociable, and we may even be lucky with money. New
relationships can be mutually beneficial. Investing money (Venus) in
yourself is best, especially if you pay for classes in a
Jupiter-related subject like law, medicine, college in general, or
for a long trip. Even legal decisions can go your way.
Venus at 9 degrees
Virgo trines Pluto in Capricorn at 8:50 am Tuesday. Emotional
and artistic creativity can take on a much deeper intensity and power
than usual. And any emotional, romantic entanglements will also be
more profound. You may feel that you have truly found your soul mate.
Mars at 12 degrees
Cancer squares Uranus in Aries at 11:08 pm Wednesday. Mechanical
or electronic items tend to go on the fritz under this kind of
transit. Have spare batteries and fuses on hand in case the fix is a
simple one. Cars or engines may experience “sudden death” or
merely seem to go on vacation. Since Cancer is a water sign, try not
to spill liquids on computers or other electronic items. Internally,
we may feel restless or rebellious without a cause. It is also
possible that in cases where someone has resisted change, it may be
forced upon them. You could even let loose and blast some poor
hapless victim with a verbal attack – one that comes out of
nowhere.
Venus at 13 degrees
Virgo sextiles Mars in Cancer at 4:35 pm Friday – now
there's sure to be a popular aspect to use for a nice, romantic
dinner out. Good aspects between Venus and Mars raise our energies as
well as our attractiveness quotient, so this favors both sports (and
other physically demanding activities), and just partying and having
fun. Our manners are better, too – all the better to make that new
gentleman look like a white knight. Even creative efforts at home
decorating are favored, plus you have the extra energy to get up on a
ladder and change curtains and such.

Friday or Monday nearest the exact aspect. Times given are in Eastern
Standard or Eastern Daylight Savings Time depending on the season.
ARIES
- March 20-April 19 – The Moon is void in Aries all day
Sunday; stick to routine matters. Juno is about halfway thru your
solar eleventh house; no doubt you have shown leadership in a local
charity or coached a team. Friends may think you are odder and odder
this past year or two, but you are following a distant drummer. You
will soon realize that someone you met in the past month is just what
you need in the romantic department. A family member may bring a
girlfriend to dinner Friday.
TAURUS
- April 20-May 20 – The Moon is in Taurus from 12:43 am
Monday till midday Wednesday. Try not to let a friend get you
off-track at work Monday morning. Mid-afternoon favors calls, errands
or shopping. Earth signs can experience a Grand Trine from late
afternoon to midday Tuesday as the Moon, Venus and Pluto swing into
position; take charge of personal finances, and indulge in creative
hobbies. Midday Tuesday favors chatting with a relative over lunch.
GEMINI
- May 21-June 20 – The
early part of the week may bring a financial boon but you have to
nail it down before it slips away. The Moon is in Gemini from
11:42 am Wednesday through Friday. Wednesday night favors nothing
more demanding than going to the movies. You can do your best work if
you go in early on Thursday. Midday Thursday does not favor finding a
coworker to help with a project. The Moon is void all day Friday in
Gemini, so stick to routine matters. Especially avoid impulse
spending on home décor Friday.
CANCER
- June 21-July 22 – Try to leave the chip on your shoulder
at home if going out Wednesday night. Thursday your cool executive
ability surges to the front as Pallas in your sign trines Saturn and
Neptune. The Moon is in its home, Cancer, from 12:30 am Saturday
through the weekend. Saturday morning is lazy indeed, but about
midday you will be determined to accomplish your to-do list. That
nice buzz by supper time is the glow of meeting that goal; you might
celebrate with a dinner out.
LEO
- July 23-Aug. 22 – On Sunday you are challenged to explain
yourself, which you do with great charm. Vesta and Ceres in your sign
trine Uranus in your solar ninth; an unusual or non-mainstream
personal philosophy has possibly become very important to you. You
may be the focus of attention at a romantic dinner Friday night.
Restrictions start to ease by the weekend, making you ready to feel
the wind in your hair and cut loose.
VIRGO
- Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – You may decide on brunch or shopping
with a friend Sunday, although you may not find anything you want to
buy. The early part of the week may see subconscious needs surface.
The second half of the week may bring news of a bequest or unexpected
tax or insurance bills. Friday night go with friends to a party or
game. The weekend may be lucky in terms of meeting new people or
winning a door prize; insist on being introduced to anyone who
catches your eye. Words of affection may come from a friend over the
weekend, or possibly next week.
LIBRA
- Sept. 23-Oct. 22 – Your
significant other may be the free spirit type who doesn't want to be
tied down; however, celestial forces conspire to keep you
unofficially together. The middle part of the week is stressful or
should I say challenging; juggling family which is important to you,
vs. career ambitions can be a real trick. On Friday night a
“guardian angel” type keeps you from getting a ticket. Continued
personal austerity will keep you on track with your financial goals.
SCORPIO
- Oct. 23-Nov. 21 – Early
in the week you decide that floundering children should perhaps see a
counselor, or you contact a parenting coach; good move! Mars favors
going to a game Friday night with a couple friends. Co-ruler Pluto
gets a nice lift Tuesday when a friend has very nice things to say
about the mystery manuscript you lent him. Be especially
safety-conscious Wednesday; you may have to repair some equipment.
You yearn to take a long trip, possibly with a friend or a group
excursion; well, pick up some brochures.
SAGITTARIUS
- Nov. 22-Dec. 21 – A
raise, bonus, or other perk may be in the offing at work.
Make sure children know the basics of first aid, even tho they will
of course call a parent. You may actually be the hero of the week on
Friday night. Sag always wants its freedom, yet with the transit of
Saturn in your solar twelfth, a subconscious need for limits and
boundaries will become apparent. Perhaps that is what the transits of
Ceres and Vesta are about; they travel your solar ninth house, urging
you to gain a personal philosophy.
CAPRICORN
- Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – A final
decision in your favor may come through on Tuesday. Try to clear
safety hazards at home before a family member trips over cords or
whatever mid-week. Pluto in your sign is inconjunct Vesta
mid-week; you might toss out the very thing you really need in your
life. Friday night favors a romantic dinner with your mate, possibly
at a foreign-themed restaurant. Saturday your spouse may be quite
intuitive, so give a listen to her thoughts.
AQUARIUS
- Jan. 20-Feb. 17 – An insurance matter may be settled at
the beginning of the week, with a check to possibly arrive as soon as
Friday. On Tuesday, a property matter reaches a final decision; this
might be family property. On Wednesday night, stick to familiar
routes and streets. Early Thursday morning may be your best window to
make your pitch. On Friday you try out a nice restaurant recommended
by a co-worker.
PISCES
- Feb. 18-March 19 – On
Sunday, your mate promises to take you someplace nice for dinner; see
Friday note. Your mate may receive a grant or other support from an
organization Tuesday. Hope your rainy-day fund is full up, because a
child may cause sudden expenses Wednesday. On Friday night, Venus
favors a nice romantic dinner with your life partner. It would
be well to guard your health this week and next, since Chiron in your
sign is receiving powerful transits.
