Mercury at 11 degrees Pisces trines Jupiter in Cancer at 9:11 am Wednesday. Jupiter is the higher octave of Mercury since both are mental planets; that means this should be a fine day for studies, for enrolling in the right college program for you, or for finding a teacher or tutor or guru. 

 

Mercury at 13 degrees Pisces sextiles Pluto in Capricorn at 1:30 am Friday. Mercury and Pluto together are excellent for digging down thru research files, doing forensic accounting, or any other type of detective work. 

 

Venus at 22 degrees Aquarius trines Mars in Libra at 3:05 pm Saturday. As you can probably guess Venus and Mars in any harmonious aspect favor romantic relationships, or actually any type of close partnership. SCORPIO - Oct. 23-Nov. 21 – On Tuesday, Saturn in your sign gets some relief from a kindly Moon sextile; maybe you can swap some work for a favor. Wednesday morning should be a great time for possibly holding a brainstorming session with creative people or brainiacs. Be sure to make good notes of even flimsy-looking ideas, because sifting through them should be left for another time. SAGITTARIUS - Nov. 22-Dec. 21 – The Moon is in Sag Sunday until about 4 pm. Early risers are full of energy and willing to go on a little hike to find signs of spring. So keep that in mind if making appointments or walking into a business office. I do have to mention a caution for Friday morning when confusion can reign at home and even make you late for work.

CAPRICORN - Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – The Moon is in Capricorn from 4:03 pm Sunday till Tuesday night. Relationships late Sunday night are apt to be strained, but probably only a matter of fatigue, so get your rest and deal with things another time. Early risers on Monday can take care of a lot of correspondence. Mid-morning might find you over-reacting to some issues about your home. Try to relax with a nice mystery novel later in the day. Early risers on Tuesday set a heavy agenda for themselves and get most of it done.

AQUARIUS - Jan. 20-Feb. 17 – The Moon is in Aquarius from 6:39 pm Tuesday till Thursday night. False starts mar Tuesday night. Wednesday morning is excellent for taking a class or for a meeting of the minds in general. You enjoy being able to personalize a program or app that afternoon. Your energy is good on Thursday but the Moon being void almost all day does not favor new business or work matters. Venus is conjunct the Moon on Thursday; ask for that favor and you shall receive.

PISCES - Feb. 18-March 19 – The Moon is in Pisces from 8:10 pm till Saturday night. Friday is a lazy day feeling, although by afternoon you may feel like exploring new places. Dinner out with your mate is fine, but you really enjoy conversation or listening to a lecture Friday night. Saturday morning favors a serious discussion with a mentor type. Moon is trine Jupiter, exalted in Cancer, so that represents a good deal of help which ameliorates any bad that comes from the lunation. The state of Israel (May 14, 1948) has its Sun and Ascendant conjunct Algol; will they make another of their surprise attacks on a neighbor? Mars at 20 degrees Virgo sextiles Jupiter in Cancer at 9:49 am Tuesday. Mars plus Jove spells a bit of luck in everything, and extra physical and competitive energy which needs to be burned off. Your physical battery gets charged up! You can get really cranky if you do not have an outlet for this energy so make time for sports and games. Legal decisions (Jupiter) may go in your favor. New business ventures or other projects are likely to be a success unless other major aspects or progressions deny it. 

 

Mercury at 9 degrees Scorpio sextiles Pluto in Capricorn at 9:07 pm Wednesday. Pluto digs down deep for more information, more details (Mercury) in a relentless quest for answers. We may investigate subjects in fields like astrology, psychology, reincarnation, and other mysteries of the mind and soul; we browse bookstores or attend lectures. (We may also play at puzzle-solving for fun and relaxation, anything from doing Sudoku to reading mystery novels.) This transit ties in with Chiron virtually standing still at 9 degrees Pisces the last quarter of the year. It may be that some of us will have to face the (medical) music, have the surgery they have put off for months, or at least get a proper diagnosis of what troubles them.

You may have a tough go of it slogging thru college study material, but hang in there because your efforts will pay off in the end. Because Mercury is retrograde, what you learn or decide may be redone or rethought or taken back. Scientific methods need to be checked against a master “cheat sheet” of some kind. 

 

Mars at 9 degrees Virgo trines Pluto in Capricorn at 6:45 am Thursday. This aspect may make it possible to dig down deep for a second effort on the ball field. It will be like accessing a supercharger!

Friday, November 1 is top-heavy with aspects:

Uranus at 9 degrees Aries squares Pluto in Capricorn at 7:13 am. This square can bring deep and radical changes – a bit like getting radical surgery for cancer, altho some cases may really require such drastic procedures. Some people with natal talents can psychically diagnose illnesses (whether physical or psychological). 

 

Retrograde Mercury at 10 degrees Scorpio sextiles Mars in Virgo at 8:03 am. Mercury sextile Mars can bring a job offer that excites us, or anyway some message that is very exciting. There can be heated arguments or formal debates under such an aspect, or even lawsuits. With the retrograde, something may be wrong with a legal summons or contract, something that could require a do-over. 

 

Sun at 9 degrees Scorpio sextiles Pluto in Capricorn at 1:02 pm. We may be called upon to rise to the occasion, be presented with some challenge that requires we dig down to be a tower of strength for others.

Things should be looking up for most people, especially natives of the water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces). The Pisceans may be considering surgery or other medical interventions, given the fact that Chiron is in close aspect with the Full Moon.

Mercury at 9 degrees Scorpio sextiles Pluto in Capricorn at 9:55 pm Sunday. While Sag supposedly worships and seeks Truth more than any other sign, I think it is Scorpio that is more determined to ferret out what the Truth is. I may be prejudiced about this, since I have Scorpio rising. Scorpio will be driven to get to the heart of the matter, possibly with an eye to bringing about positive changes in one's life. This aspect can poke you into taking up study of esoteric subjects like astrology, psychology, handwriting analysis, or into picking up crossword puzzles or Sudoku, etc. Can do a great job of forensic analysis of bookkeeping or other documents like contracts. 

 

Venus enters Sag at 1:54 pm Monday. Venus goes from serious Scorpio to footloose Sag this week. Venus lightens up and is more inclined to just flirt rather than consider a serious romance. That is mainly because Venus in Sag spends so much time out of town, unavailable for a spontaneous date at the pizza joint. Sag's emotional rootlessness can be seen by others as fear of commitment, tho it is really a fear of loss of freedom. Is inclined to joke too much with a serious romantic partner. A mature Sag is able to foster trust in the relationship so that they can endure short separations necessitated by career demands. Venus in Sag makes a better friend, due to his loyalty combined with a certain detachment.

Mercury is conjunct Saturn at 10 degrees Scorpio at 3:39 pm Tuesday. The shorthand for this aspect is “serious talk”, altho it may also include study or reading on serious subjects. Another shorthand is “negative thinking” which you really gotta fight against and analyze whether there is any factual basis for your negativity. You want to stick to the facts, get to the point, get to the bottom line – “Are you in or are you out?” It can also mean crunching the numbers or talking with an older person or mentor. It can mean guilt and worry altho the Moon is often involved when emotions are stirred up. It can mean saying Goodbye, especially for responsible reasons. Hitting your Moon or other personal planets can make you somber and nit-picky and no fun at all. (This aspect kind of echoes the Mercury-Pluto sextile of earlier this week.)

Venus at 3 degrees Sag squares Neptune in Pisces at 5:06 am Thursday. Now this is a bit hard for me to understand the shorthand of this. Normally Venus and Neptune together spell “in love with love” feelings. But Sag is not very serious or romantic, as opposed to Pisces who would like to live in dreams. So this is hard to reconcile. It may be that one party thinks this match is the Real Thing, and the other party thinks this is just a convenient arrangement. A romantic interlude for those already committed, and a secret affair for new liaisons. Possible increased sensitivity and creativity in the arts such as music and painting. The other meaning of Venus square Neptune is that it tends to bring the get-rich-quick schemes (and other scams) out of the woodwork. Don't sign contracts under this aspect! Someone is not telling you the whole story, or is fabricating lies wholesale. 

 

The Sun at 19 degrees Libra squares Jupiter in Cancer at 11:09 am Saturday. Sun-Jupiter squares generally force you to see the effects of overdoing stuff – you wake with the killer hangover, and so you finally decide to grow up and accept your limits when it comes to alcohol. It also tends to make us loosen the purse strings a bit and spend more than usual. You may buy multiples at the shirt sale, plus three pairs of shoes, or replace all your socks. Altho with Cancer, your spending may be on the home and décor.
