Will Jupiter-Saturn conjunction strike again at American presidency in 2021?

by Milky Way Maid

Holy Cripes! I took a gander at drawing up a chart for the Presidential Inaugural on Jan. 20, 2021, and it looks like the winner might wish he had lost. Go ahead, make your own chart for noon (or perhaps 12:05 or whenever you think the swearing-in will be finished) and have a look.

The Placidus chart I made has 14 degrees Taurus rising, with a nice trine to Venus at 15 Capricorn in the 9th house, so that looks like the nation and the press will welcome him and throw verbal flowers his way. However, close on the Ascendant are Mars and Uranus, both at 6 degrees Taurus in the twelfth house, which suggests an accident or perhaps a medical event that requires surgery and a hospital stay. Those two planets square Jupiter at 7 degrees Aquarius (with Saturn close by at 3 degrees).

Also foreboding is Pluto at 24 degrees Capricorn conjunct the Midheaven at 26 degrees. This is not good at all. To me, Pluto aspecting an angle means that things do not come off. An athlete has to withdraw from a competition before it occurs, or the event gets rescheduled for another time – things like that. It is possible that a public swearing-in cannot be held because of a return of the virus-that-cannot-be-named – although I'd kind of expect Neptune to be active in such a case.

In this case, with Venus in a happy aspect to the Ascendant, I would guess people welcome the new chief executive, but with Pluto breathing on the Midheaven maybe the administration cannot even get started before a strong challenge occurs. Perhaps Venus' presence means that the outcome of the emergency, whatever it is, will be a lucky one.

I'll give you the full details of the planets in this chart. Of course you can draw a chart yourself if you prefer a different house system...
SUN at 00 Aquarius in tenth house. Moon at 29 Aries in twelfth house. Mercury at 18 Aquarius in tenth house. Venus at 15 Capricorn in ninth house. Mars and Uranus at 6 Taurus in twelfth house. Jupiter at 7 Aquarius in tenth house (and Saturn is near at 3 degrees). Neptune is at 18 Pisces in eleventh house. Pluto at 24 Capricorn in ninth house near the MC. The North Node is at 19 degrees, 5 minutes Gemini in the second, so that this axis lies across the second to eighth houses. And Part of Fortune is at 12 degrees Leo in the fourth house, where its only close aspect is an inconjunct to that Venus.

Of course you are asking me what kind of aspects these make to the presumptive Democratic nominee's chart? For one thing, Joe Biden's natal Jupiter at 25 Cancer opposes that Pluto and Midheaven, not too bad. His own Pluto at 7 Leo squares transiting Mars-Uranus in Taurus, which doesn't sound good at all, altho it could mean he foils protesters or secret plotters. Pluto and that Mars-Uranus make a T-square with transiting Jupiter in Aquarius, so he has a very challenging situation indeed. I suppose by then the economy will have been driven into the ground by poor decisions on the part of his predecessor.

Bernie fans will be pleased to note that his Saturn in Taurus and his Neptune in Virgo will make a grand trine with the inauguration Midheaven, a very fortunate aspect. However his Venus at 22 Libra and his Mars at 23 Aries will square that Midheaven, too; he can't expect to get through without challenges during his term.

Astrological Correspondences for the Knights of the Round Table – a traditional list

by Milky Way Maid
I was re-reading some old astrological references and came across this list again. Felt it might be of interest to all you King Arthur fans or lovers of medieval literature and culture.
First of all, Arthur and Guinevere themselves symbolized the Sun and Moon polarity. And there were not just 12 knights; there were many more. Ultimately they totaled 144 by some counts, or twelve for each sign. But primary among those that were most easily identified as belonging to one sign or another are these knights listed below:
ARIES-- Sir Gareth, who (befitting his Mars ruler) was a skilled fighter but unfortunately also known for his temper. Youngest son of King Lot and Margause, making him King Arthur's nephew;
TAURUS-- Sir Dinadan, who was slow to anger but a formidable opponent once aroused.
GEMINI-- Sir Lionel and Sir Bors, who were twins. (I bet you guessed that right away, LOL!) One was traditionally thought of as good and loyal, while the other one was unreliable.
CANCER-- Sir Kay. He was in charge of the kitchens; was known for some culinary skills. And we don't like to mention this, but he was kind of crabby sometimes.
LEO-- Sir Gawain was the brave and rather flamboyant star of the popular tale of the Green Knight.
VIRGO-- Sir Tristam, who was unlucky in health and therefore probably was forced to pay attention to care of the body more than most of the other knights. His health interfered when he was called upon to serve, which must have pained him more than the physical illness itself.
LIBRA-- Sir Balin was notoriously indecisive, vacillating between his options too long and losing the moment. He hesitated when it came time to pass a death sentence on King Royn, and this hesitation led to his undoing.
SCORPIO-- Sir Lancelot was not only a powerful warrior, but was also able to bring the dead back to life. Unfortunately his passion for the lovely and pure Guinevere was his downfall
SAGITTARIUS-- Sir Percival was among other things known for the ability to communicate with animals.
CAPRICORN-- Sir Urry looked older than his years but was rejuvenated by Sir Lancelot.
AQUARIUS-- Sir Palomides was socially successful, admiring not only his fellow knights but also the kings of the Irish and Scottish territories; those kings admired him so much they sent many gifts and invites to major celebrations to share their fellowship.
PISCES-- Sir Galahad. Representing the spiritual seeker mode of Pisces, he was the one most dedicated to the quest for the Holy Grail and was the only one pure enough to achieve a vision.

========================================
As long as I'm here, I may as well include the Celtic Tree Calendar. This is a 13-sign calendar so I have to assume this is based on the lunar cycles not the solar. The dates do not correspond to any of the Western astrology sun signs although the Alder month begins on March 18, which is close enough to our Aries ingress and spring Equinox to suit.
BETH (birch) – Dec. 24 to Jan. 20
LUIS (rowan or mountain ash) – Jan. 21 to Feb. 17
NION (ash) – Feb. 18 to March 17
FEARN (alder) – March 18 to April 14
SAILLE (willow) – April 15 to May 12
UATH (hawthorn) – May 13 to June 9
DUIR (oak) – June 10 to July 7
TINNE (holly) – July 8 to August 4
COLL (hazel) – August 5 to Sept. 1
MUIN (vine) – Sept. 2 to Sept. 29
GORT (ivy) – Sept. 30 to Oct. 27
NGETAL (reed) – Oct. 28 to Nov. 24
RUIS (elder) – Nov. 25 to Dec. 22
(Dec. 23 is not part of this calendar due to its standing as a special day. It is the day of the proverbial Year and a Day in the earliest courts of law.)

Comparing Dem Candidates' Natal Charts to George Washington Inaugural Chart: Part One, Joe Biden

BY MILKY WAY MAID
[ Obviously I meant to post this article weeks ago. My bad. ]

Now that the Democratic field contesting the nomination has thinned out a little, it is time to assess how well their natal charts sync with the George Washington inaugural chart. A “mere” nine candidates have qualified for the December debate so far.

The info on George Washington’s first inauguration is as follows: April 30, 1789, New York, NY, between 12:40 and 12:45 pm LMT, SOURCE- Campion, “Book of World Horoscopes,” #378. You can go to Astro.com to print out a free chart if your software will not go that far back, or does not have an option for LMT (local mean time).

Printing up the chart, we arrive at an ascendant of 27 or 28 degrees Leo. This is probably why so many of our presidents have had some planet or natal ascendant in the kingly sign – even though we consciously were rejecting the whole idea of a monarchy. And the Midheaven is at 21 degrees Taurus.
From there the planets are arrayed as follows: Neptune at 21 degrees Libra in the second house, Part of Fortune at almost 4 degrees Scorpio in the third, North Node at 28 Scorpio in the fourth, Pluto at 19 Aquarius in the sixth, Saturn at 20 Pisces in the seventh, Mars at 13 Aries in the eighth, Mercury at 24 Aries in the ninth, Venus at 2 Taurus in the ninth, Sun at 10 Taurus in the ninth, South Node at 28 Taurus in the tenth, Moon at 16 Cancer in the eleventh, Jupiter at 22 Cancer in the eleventh, and Uranus at 1 Leo in the twelfth. We will call this the GW chart from here on, OK?

Joe Biden's aspects: His Mercury at 21 Scorpio exactly opposes the Taurus MC; oh dear, I hope he does not mis-speak all through his inaugural address. His Mercury also trines the GW Jupiter at 22 Cancer and GW Saturn at 20 Pisces, a sign that he will manage to communicate our country's values and aspirations, including respect for the laws and Constitution.

His Sun and Venus at 27 and 28 Scorpio join up with the GW chart's North Node. His own natal North Node at 29 Leo exactly squares it. And the GW Uranus at 1 Leo is sextile his Neptune at 1 Libra, suggesting that inspiration (Uranus) and ideals (Neptune) will feed each other (oh at least for as long as his inaugural address takes, pardon me for being a bit less than hopeful about that.

The main gist of this article is that Joe Biden has several points of contact with the George Washington inaugural chart, which makes it much more likely that he can achieve the highest office in the land. Many of the candidates who have fallen by the wayside had no contacts at all or just one contact, people who had good qualifications like Sen. Michael Bennet, or Beto O'Roarke, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Rep. Corey Booker, and Sen Amy Klobuchar. Hopefully most of them will find a role in the Cabinet or other important positions.
