Your Milky Way Horoscope Oct. 6-12, 2013
By
Milky Way Maid
Mercury at 9 degrees
Scorpio sextiles Pluto in Capricorn at 9:55 pm Sunday. While
Sag supposedly worships and seeks Truth more than any other sign, I
think it is Scorpio that is more determined to ferret out what the
Truth is. I may be prejudiced about this, since I have Scorpio
rising. Scorpio will be driven to get to the heart of the matter,
possibly with an eye to bringing about positive changes in one's
life. This aspect can poke you into taking up study of esoteric
subjects like astrology, psychology, handwriting analysis, or into
picking up crossword puzzles or Sudoku, etc. Can do a great job of
forensic analysis of bookkeeping or other documents like contracts.
Venus enters Sag at
1:54 pm Monday. Venus goes from
serious Scorpio to footloose Sag this week. Venus lightens up and is
more inclined to just flirt rather than consider a serious romance.
That is mainly because Venus in Sag spends so much time out of town,
unavailable for a spontaneous date at the pizza joint. Sag's
emotional rootlessness can be seen by others as fear of commitment,
tho it is really a fear of loss of freedom. Is inclined to joke too
much with a serious romantic partner. A mature Sag is able to foster
trust in the relationship so that they can endure short separations
necessitated by career demands. Venus in Sag makes a better friend,
due to his loyalty combined with a certain detachment.
Famous
people with Venus in Sag include:
Dwight David Eisenhower, James Thurber, Cary Grant, Winston
Churchill, Robert Louis Stevenson, Lewis Carroll, Rudyard Kipling,
Mark Twain, Douglas MacArthur, Johnny Carson, Joan Baez, Jane Fonda,
Charles de Gaulle, and Pablo Casals.
Mercury is conjunct
Saturn at 10 degrees Scorpio at 3:39 pm Tuesday.
The shorthand for this aspect is “serious talk”, altho it may
also include study or reading on serious subjects. Another shorthand
is “negative thinking” which you really gotta fight against and
analyze whether there is any factual basis for your negativity. You
want to stick to the facts, get to the point, get to the bottom line
– “Are you in or are you out?” It can also mean crunching the
numbers or talking with an older person or mentor. It can mean guilt
and worry altho the Moon is often involved when emotions are stirred
up. It can mean saying Goodbye, especially for responsible reasons.
Hitting your Moon or other personal planets can make you somber and
nit-picky and no fun at all. (This aspect kind of echoes the
Mercury-Pluto sextile of earlier this week.)
Venus at 3 degrees
Sag squares Neptune in Pisces at 5:06 am Thursday. Now
this is a bit hard for me to understand the shorthand of this.
Normally Venus and Neptune together spell “in love with love”
feelings. But Sag is not very serious or romantic, as opposed to
Pisces who would like to live in dreams. So this is hard to
reconcile. It may be that one party thinks this match is the Real
Thing, and the other party thinks this is just a convenient
arrangement. A romantic interlude for those already committed, and a
secret affair for new liaisons. Possible increased sensitivity and
creativity in the arts such as music and painting. The other meaning
of Venus square Neptune is that it tends to bring the get-rich-quick
schemes (and other scams) out of the woodwork. Don't sign contracts
under this aspect! Someone is not telling you the whole story, or is
fabricating lies wholesale.
The Sun at 19 degrees
Libra squares Jupiter in Cancer at 11:09 am Saturday.
Sun-Jupiter squares generally force you to see the effects of
overdoing stuff – you wake with the killer hangover, and so you
finally decide to grow up and accept your limits when it comes to
alcohol. It also tends to make us loosen the purse strings a bit and
spend more than usual. You may buy multiples at the shirt sale, plus
three pairs of shoes, or replace all your socks. Altho with Cancer,
your spending may be on the home and décor.

Your Milky Way Horoscope Sept. 29 - Oct. 5, 2013
By
Milky Way Maid
Mercury enters
Scorpio at 7:38 am Sunday, a
sign where Mercury becomes the detective who delves under the surface
and solves any kind of mystery – the murder mystery novel, the
medical mystery, the crime mystery, the mystery of where your money
went, but especially the mystery of the soul and spirit. This
Mercury's insights into others' motivations or moods can make them
seem psychic. Do not play poker with these guys if you can help it.
Mercury
at 3 degrees Scorpio trines Neptune in Pisces at 5:46 pm Tuesday.
Adverse aspects between Mercury and Neptune can cloud our judgment
terribly, and allow us to be fooled by lies and propaganda. Words can
be magic – as in poetry – or they can be hypnotic – as in a
scammer's spiel. Sometimes we do not really understand what is said
to us under such a transit, and that is one reason why astrologers
always tell you not to sign anything under such a transit. You won't
understand what you are signing.
The Sun at 9 degrees
Libra squares Pluto in Capricorn at 9:25 pm Tuesday.
Sun-Pluto squares generally mean that fighting City Hall is a losing
proposition, even tho you may feel that your issue is perfectly
cut-and-dried in your favor. One runs into Authority Figures who
throw obstacles of various kinds in your path, such as traffic
tickets, lawsuits, audits, denial of permits or licenses, etc. For a
restaurant owner, losing a beer license can probably put them out of
business. I shouldn't say to never take up a fight under this
transit, but be aware that you cannot count on having it won just on
the face of the obvious evidence. You will have to marshal your facts
and cobble together a legal argument for why your
request-suit-petition should be granted.
The
Sun at 10 degrees Libra opposes Uranus in Aries at 10:12 am Thursday.
I just got done telling y'all not to fight City Hall, and here with
this opposition, that is exactly what you might wind up doing. You
may actually stand toe-to-toe with an Authority Figure and tell
him/her that their way is wrong, with a capital W, W-R-O-N-G!!! There
is also some likelihood of brilliantly inventing something, that is
if you have that particular talent and skill set.
We have a New Moon
8:34 pm Friday, at 11 degrees 56' Libra. New
Moons are kind of like mini-eclipses; their effects usually last for
just that month although things begun under them could continue on
for a long time. Libra New Moons will emphasize relationship issues.
Either you meet someone new who is quite attractive, or issues of
fairness crop up in existing relationships. Notice the aspects this
week that fall on 9 or 10 degrees Libra (see
above), plus this NM at
11 degrees Libra. Anyone with natal planets around there, or at
major aspects to them, will surely feel a tug all this week. The New
Moon opposes Uranus in Aries, squares Pluto in Capricorn, trines
Chiron in Pisces, and semi-sextiles Saturn in Scorpio. Those are some
heavy-duty aspects, and I am not looking forward to them. Since they
are in cardinal signs, we may see something of the effects even
before the exact New Moon. Effects may include bombs (Uranus), a
government crackdown (Pluto), injuries or loss of life (Chiron). Less
dire effects may include psychological (Uranus) therapy (Pluto),
surgery (Pluto and Chiron), chemotherapy, etc. I don't specialize in
lunation reports, so for further insights from the Full Moon in Libra

ARIES
- March 20-April 19 - Mercury enters your solar eighth house
on Sunday; you discuss intense subjects like making a will, or of
making provisions for annuities, etc. Aspects to the Sun in your
seventh house Libra can bring challenging and demanding people into
your life. The New Moon on Saturday directly impacts you or your
partnerships, and could even push you into couples therapy.
TAURUS
- April 20-May 20 – Mercury enters your solar seventh house
on Sunday; a younger person may interest you as a partner. Aspects to
the Sun in Libra this week can bring some health issues to the fore,
some of which may be work-related. The New Moon in Libra may force
you to address health issues, some of which may be of long standing.
It is possible you may have to revamp everything that you thought you
knew.
GEMINI
- May 21-June 20 - Mercury enters your solar sixth house on
Sunday; a greater quantity of serious messages come in, possibly
related to making health-related followup visits. Aspects to the Sun
in Libra (and Saturday's New Moon in Libra) in your house of children
may bring concerns about them to the forefront, although this may be
good news about expecting a new grand-baby.
CANCER
- June 21-July 22 - Mercury enters your solar fifth house on
Sunday; you may act as social secretary, making reservations for a
bus to Anne Rice's New Orleans, or similar destinations. Jupiter in
your sign sextiles Ceres in Virgo, making me imagine you selling
produce or jams at the local farmers market or at work. Aspects to
the Sun this week, and the New Moon in Libra on Saturday, raise
family issues to the forefront; how to balance home and career
demands may be entwined with a mate's desire to control events.
LEO
- July 23-Aug. 22 – The Moon is in Leo from 3:57 am Sunday
till Tuesday afternoon. Leos find sympathetic company for dinner
Sunday – or maybe just a good audience. You may stay up past
midnight expressing your wild or eccentric individuality. You may
have an emotional reaction to news Monday night, something that puts
you on top o' the world and revs your engine to high. Aspects to the
Sun this week, and the New Moon in Libra on Saturday, put educational
matters on the front burner.
VIRGO
- Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – The Moon is in Virgo from 2:52 pm
Tuesday till Thursday night. Tuesday night does not favor going to a
new hangout, since it is too easy to get lost. You might prefer
catching up on calls or emails. Start off Wednesday morning with a
strong affirmation to stiffen your spine. Mid-morning favors a
meeting with a mentor or older advisor. On Thursday afternoon you may
locate a sibling or neighbor to swap favors with. Aspects to the Sun
this week, and the New Moon in Libra on Saturday, accent financial
matters.
LIBRA
- Sept. 23-Oct. 22 – Mercury enters your solar second house
on Sunday; you spend some time analyzing finances, tracking payments
and expenses. The Moon is in lovely Libra from 10:59 pm Thursday till
next Sunday morning. New people may walk into your life you are
significant at least in the short term, not as a love object but as
something that you struggle against. Try not to overdo or blow things
out of proportion Saturday morning. You are your usual energetic self
Saturday night, possibly putting a great deal of energy into a
project or relationship. SEE NEW MOON NOTES and Mercury transiting
aspect notes.
SCORPIO
- Oct. 23-Nov. 21 - Mercury enters your sign on Sunday; lots
of people walk into your life, possibly some from past lives. Saturn
in your sign ties in tightly with the Sun transits and New Moon. The
New Moon could usher in a family health crisis, possibly that of a
child, although I must add that it may be just a wake-up call. A
sextile between Saturn and Vesta is applying; a friend may be the
friend indeed who helps out in a pinch.
SAGITTARIUS
- Nov. 22-Dec. 21 - Mercury enters your solar twelfth house on
Sunday; secret messages come your way, or you have confidential
discussions of Big Secrets. With the New Moon in Libra, your
beauty-loving friends may disapprove of your strong interest in
avant-garde styles. Juno in your third house is applying to a square
to Mercury; a sibling or neighbor may try to fix you up with someone.
CAPRICORN
- Dec. 22-Jan. 19 - Mercury enters your solar eleventh house
on Sunday; you may edit or print the newsletter for a cause or a
service group, or possibly the undertakers' society. The New Moon on
Saturday directly impacts you, possibly due to conflicting demands of
family and career. You may be asked to give up one or the other, at
least for the short term. For the long term, be very careful of data
and check it out for accuracy or incompleteness.
AQUARIUS
- Jan. 20-Feb. 17 - Mercury enters your solar tenth house on
Sunday; you might prepare a speech or PowerPoint for a conference.
Watch what you say to your partners, due to Mercury in Scorpio
squaring Juno in your sign; you may have a lot of discussion with
partners in any case. The New Moon may force a revamp or upgrade in
computer systems or other communications.
PISCES
- Feb. 18-March 19 - Mercury enters your solar ninth house on
Sunday; your mind seeks stimulation and wisdom, leading you to sign
up for a class or online discussion group. Health insurance matters
work out this week. The New Moon on Saturday may force a change in
your routine, where you may even nurse a family member through their
illness. An internet forum provides flirtatious fun and diversion.

Your Milky Way Horoscope Sept. 22-28, 2013
By
Milky Way Maid
The Sun enters Libra
at 4:44 pm Sunday. Librans like
to talk things out to smooth over any social friction. I am reminded
of Dwight D. Eisenhower starting off an interview by Ed Murrow by
saying, “ Ed, I've been sitting here for months just waiting till I
could have a good long talk about all this with just you,”
while they sipped Mamie's iced tea. Ike had to master the art of
maintaining harmony amongst multiple egos when heading the European
task force during WWII. Librans want to know what you want, so they
can keep you happy. Librans demand fair treatment. Sometimes a Libran
will expect a Yes from you just because he/she said Please, and might
be royally miffed if you cannot indulge the request. Also sometimes
the Libran will cave in just to avoid argument, but creating
resentment that eventually piles up into a flaming row is not serving
the cause of peace. A more mature Libran will try to dish out the
cookies or perks according to who values what, while demanding
everybody contribute a fair amount of effort to the grand project.
Librans
truly enjoy working with a partner. This is true even if she is only
holding the ladder while hubby nails the roofing. Thrives on the
approval of others, so sometimes winds up in the performing arts.
Enjoys harmony in music, and in vocal talents can often sing in a
wide range, on perfect pitch, in a pure tone. Dresses carefully to
put together an outfit for the day. Offended by vulgarity. Famous
people with Sun in Libra include:
Eisenhower, author William Faulkner, showman and columnist Ed
Sullivan, singer-actress Julie Andrews, late-night TV host Johnny
Carson, actress Helen Hayes, Mohandas “Mahatma” Gandhi, First
Lady Eleanor Roosevelt, pianist Vladimir Horowitz, architect Le
Corbusier, composer Giuseppe Verdi.
Venus at 17 degrees
Scorpio trines Jupiter in Cancer at 5:01 pm Thursday, which is
Jupiter's day, BTW. When the
two benefics are in easy aspect, life can look very plush. It is also
easy to overdo when it comes to sweets, gourmet multi-course dinners,
spending in general, or any aspect of the good life. Note if it
touches any natal planets for clues as to what you will be tempted
by. Some chance of actually winning money under this aspect, but a
lot depends on natal planets. You may feel like you are on vacation,
spend more money than usual, be generous and treat another couple to
dinner, etc.
Venus at 19 degrees
Scorpio squares Mars in Leo at 9:32 am Saturday. This
is often an aspect of sexual tension. People who are interested in
each other may be prevented by social or economic roles from
following up, so when they do meet it can get awkward. This is also
an aspect that traditionally mean argument between couples – but of
course it can be fun to make up. If the Mars is more activated, it
can mean taking on a dare to impress someone. If Venus is
representing money, it can mean putting in more hours and thereby
increasing one's income for the week.
NOTE: Mercury will
enter Scorpio next Sunday morning (Sept. 29). Mercury
in Scorpio holds his cards close to the chest, and tries to scope out
what cards are being held by the other players. (more next week)

ARIES
- March 20-April 19 - The Sun enters your solar seventh house
on Sunday; you find yourself charming others in interviews or sales
pitches, or partnering with a coworker. This is a pretty interesting
week for Aries. Uranus in your sign exactly trines Pallas in Leo,
enhancing your leadership qualities especially in emergencies. Uranus
is also inconjunct Vesta in Virgo, which may force adjustments from
necessity.
TAURUS
- April 20-May 20 – The Sun enters your solar sixth house on
Sunday; people are more aware of your efforts at work, and you may
concentrate on personal wellness. The week begins with the Moon in
Taurus, until early Tuesday. You could meet a brick wall midday
Sunday, and altho you might be able to batter it down, it might be
best to avoid the mess created. Your mate looks lovelier than ever
over Sunday dinner. Very early risers on Monday may feel a sense of
well-being that carries over all day.
GEMINI
- May 21-June 20 – The Sun enters your solar fifth house on
Sunday; indulging your creative side enriches your life with crafts,
art classes, or music. The Moon is in Gemini from 3:34 am Tuesday
till Thursday afternoon. Early Tuesday morning finds harmony between
the sexes. The morning commute, however, can be fogged by confusion,
detours, or getting lost. Wednesday afternoon finds you energized by
your errands and visits. Thursday offers good luck in converting an
avocation into a paying proposition.
CANCER
- June 21-July 22 – The Sun enters your solar fourth house
on Sunday; you find little changes create a more harmonious color
palette in your home. The Moon is home in Cancer from 3:24 pm
Thursday thru Saturday. You treat yourself after work Thursday. You
delve into symbolism Thursday night, possibly arguing into the night
over the meaning of some icon. Try to dodge any tug-of-war Friday
morning. You enjoy a productive chat with a mentor late Friday
morning or over early lunch. You are exceedingly optimistic early
Saturday morn. Breakfast with loved ones may include a sweet treat
Saturday.
LEO
- July 23-Aug. 22 - The Sun enters your solar third house on
Sunday; you may act as Social Director this month, sending out
invites or arranging bus tours – possibly to art museums. You may
make a long-distance cyber-friend via the internet this week. A legal
matter may suddenly be resolved, or you may untangle a legal question
for someone else. Family members run into some luck Thursday; help
them make the most of it. A sibling may finally meet the right
person, and you cannot wait to attend the wedding.
VIRGO
- Aug. 23-Sept. 22 - The Sun enters your solar second house on
Sunday; you may want to know what certain items are worth, or put
things up for sale. You take along a friend to your fave health food
store and introduce him/her to better alternates for problem foods.
It is possible that this friend or someone else may make fun of your
food choices, but laugh it off. A surprise legacy may present itself
this week.
LIBRA
- Sept. 23-Oct. 22 - The Sun enters your sign on Sunday; you
introduce yourself to busloads of new people in the most charming way
possible. And since the Sun will trine Juno, making a station in
Aquarius, one of those new people may be the mate of your dreams.
With Mercury in late degrees of your sign, having a meeting of the
minds is very important. Ruler Venus squares Mars on Saturday; don't
pick fights with friends, but maybe you can channel competitive
energies into an athletic contest.
SCORPIO
- Oct. 23-Nov. 21 - The Sun
enters your solar twelfth house on Sunday; people may see less of you
as you concentrate on projects. Also the subconscious may be brought
to the surface under this transit, whether you want it to or not!
Venus in your sign trines Jove on Thursday; make a point not to
overdo at dinner. Ceres in Virgo approaches the midpoint of Venus in
your sign and Jupiter; a friend may be a catalyst in re-aligning your
diet for a healthier you. It is easy to get into arguments Saturday
morn; resolve not to sweat the small stuff.
SAGITTARIUS
- Nov. 22-Dec. 21 - The Sun enters your solar eleventh house
on Sunday; you spend more time helping out a charitable cause or
local association. You may make a new friend while at the local
bookshop. Go the next avant-garde art show, where you meet a
fascinating expert on everything. A career move into health-food
products or merchandising may improve your financial situation, or at
least provide another income stream.
CAPRICORN
- Dec. 22-Jan. 19 - The Sun enters your solar tenth house on
Sunday; you could receive recognition this month, or you might post
your resume here 'n' there. A night out with friends Thursday may
tempt everyone to over-indulge, so maybe you could cut things off a
bit early. Pluto in your sign is exactly trine Vesta in Virgo this
week and next; you find what you need, possibly a long ways off in a
foreign country. A financial partnership may present itself late in
the week; this really looks like it has possibilities.
AQUARIUS
- Jan. 20-Feb. 17 - The Sun enters your solar ninth house on
Sunday; adventures by air may beckon, such as via hot-air balloon;
also courses or books in international diplomacy may interest you.
Juno in your sign trines Sun in Libra the second half of the week;
you may meet someone new who sure looks like your type, possibly at a
class or church. You may have noticed Neptune in your solar second
house inflating your bank account or financial statements, but make
sure there is something solid underneath it.
PISCES
- Feb. 18-March 19 - The Sun enters your solar eighth house on
Sunday; mergers of any kind may be on the agenda this month, and some
may have power struggles. Second-house Uranus receives a windfall
from extra work or from converting a hobby into a second income.
Children may have a lucky day on Thursday. I don't know if I
mentioned that Chiron is in your sign for quite a while yet, so you
need to pay attention to health and safety issues at all times.

Your Milky Way Horoscope Sept. 15-21, 2013
By
Milky Way Maid
Mercury at 11 degrees
Libra opposes Uranus in Aries at 2:41 am Monday. Mechanical
and electronic items can go awry. However, the mind can work at
incredible speed under this aspect, and other people will seem as
slow as molasses. Thoughts can be scattered and easily lost, so it
would be good to keep a notebook or notepad nearby to anchor your
thoughts onto. One's mind may only be able to make an overall survey
of a topic or subject (such as astrology or electronics or some
technical subject) but just a glance can yield a brilliant insight.
Yet – your mind can skip around and so you forget to carry the two,
or some such basic task as that.
Mercury at 13 degrees
Libra sextiles Mars in Leo at 3:17 am Tuesday. This
is good for skilled handwork, technical work, or even sports where
the hands are important for catching that ball! Mercury and Mars
together often spell debate also, so remember to respect the other
fellow's point of view even as you try to convince him/her of the
correctness of yours.
Venus is conjunct
Saturn at 8 degrees Scorpio at 4:54 pm Wednesday. Those
who are in a serious romantic involvement may decide to formalize
(Saturn) it with an engagement – or break things off if the other
party is not willing to make a commitment. This aspect reflects the
opposite ends of the spectrum of romance. On the one hand a
relationship begun under it may well last for decades – and on the
other, existing relationships may see separations often due to the
demands of a job or college or something of the sort. It can be
difficult to speak of love, altho much easier to do the deeds that
express one's commitment to the other person.
Venus at 8 degrees
59' Scorpio sextiles Pluto in Capricorn at 9:49 pm Wednesday. This
is good for romantic relationships to take steps toward a deeper
knowledge of each other. You go right past the superficial and probe
deep into the psyche and motivations of the other person. It also
favors improving one's financial position by getting and taking
advice from a large bank or possibly from an insurance company
(Pluto). Pluto also represents the mob, altho I cannot possibly
recommend getting a loan from a mobster!
Mercury at 16 degrees
Libra squares Jupiter in Cancer at 10:21 pm Thursday.
You can dream big, take the long-range view, and utterly forget the
picky details of getting from Point A to Point B. Adverse aspects
between Mercury and Jupiter can make it difficult to do well in
school or in college; it can also affect one's ability to contact
people of influence. The square sometimes coincides with EXAMS,
requiring EFFORT to prepare for and pass said tests. Since this
aspect occurs on the day of the New Moon, it may be that some of us
deliberately challenge ourselves by enrolling in a class or starting
some new brainteaser game-playing habit.

Readers
can follow not only their Sun sign horoscope but also their Ascendant
for further clues to how your week will develop. NOTE: some aspects
are exact on a weekend but may find opportunity for expression on the
Friday or Monday nearest the exact aspect. Times given are in Eastern
Standard or Eastern Daylight Savings Time depending on the season.
ARIES
- March 20-April 19 – Tuesday morning favors sports, games,
or skilled handwork; you may even compete with a friendly opponent.
The Moon is in Aries from 12:58 pm Thursday till Saturday night.
Someone may irritate you no end early Friday, possibly on your
commute, but shake it off. Friday afternoon your energy is high, and
you might even burn off some of it with games or sports after work.
You tend to get absorbed in some take-home work Friday night, or
possibly get into a new novel.
TAURUS
- April 20-May 20 – On Monday, coworkers make you feel slow
when they are thinking and talking at breakneck speed; take notes as
needed. Wednesday's Venus-Saturn conjunction in your solar seventh
house may make an older person or authority figure look awfully
attractive. The Moon is in Taurus from 6:33 pm Saturday thru the
weekend. The Taurus moon has no exact aspects on Saturday, so enjoy
the power of this moon's ability to express the feelings and hopes of
all of us, and the ability to get others to join you in community
activities.
GEMINI
- May 21-June 20 – Children seem to talk twice as fast as
normal Monday morning. Tuesday morning favors crafts or other skilled
hand work; you may even set a “personal best” for production.
Wednesday's Venus-Saturn conjunction may make an older coworker looks
very attractive. On Thursday you would dearly love to enroll in a
class but worry about the expense; keep checking around because I
know there are some free courses online.
CANCER
- June 21-July 22 – Family members are chattering and moving
fast Monday morning, possibly forgetting lunches or bus money. On
Tuesday you realize how good you are at certain craft skills, a theme
to be repeated on Thursday. Wednesday's Venus-Saturn conjunction
could make an older person look attractive, or it could formalize a
relationship into an engagement. On Thursday you consider whether you
might take or teach a class; it is possible you might teach
informally in the home.
LEO
- July 23-Aug. 22 – You can get into a friendly or
not-so-friendly debate with a sibling or neighbor on Tuesday. Tuesday
also favors games, sports and craftwork – especially crafts that
you can take along with you on your train commute. Wednesday's
Venus-Saturn conjunction favors decorating your home with antiques or
at least used items – things that will make the home look
prosperous. On Thursday you may prefer to work from home, or learn
from home; look into free online courses.
VIRGO
- Aug. 23-Sept. 22 - Wednesday's Venus-Saturn conjunction
could make an older neighbor look awfully good to you. On Thursday,
you look into whether you might earn a bit of cash by teaching your
friends some of the practical skills you have; maybe you could host
cooking classes or jewelry-making parties.
LIBRA
- Sept. 23-Oct. 22 – Your mind skips around Monday morning,
tho you can take in a breathtaking amount of data at a glance. You
can get into a friendly or not-so-friendly debate with a friend on
Tuesday. Wednesday's Venus-Saturn conjunction in your solar second
house of finances favors getting a good deal, one that you have
researched. On Thursday you may look into taking a course sponsored
by your employer to help with your career advancement.
SCORPIO
- Oct. 23-Nov. 21 – Remember to stay in the present moment
on Monday morning; instead of letting your mind run away with inner
chatter. Tuesday favors finding how to improve your skills and
techniques, possibly at a company-sponsored seminar or retreat.
Wednesday's Venus-Saturn conjunction gives you an air of having
rock-solid values; people may turn to you as the Voice Of Experience.
On Thursday you might look into taking a seminar at a quiet retreat
setting.
SAGITTARIUS
- Nov. 22-Dec. 21 – Monday can be a very stimulating day for
getting ideas for creative projects or artistic pursuits. On Tuesday
a friend might be very helpful at explaining techniques that improve
your mastery of crafts. Wednesday is a day when you might get deeper
than you want in some very muddy waters. On Thursday you might be
intrigued by a class offered through a charity or other non-profit,
something that you and your spouse might attend together.
CAPRICORN
- Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – Monday can be very stimulating inre the
world of ideas, although it might be hard to recall anything useful
without a notebook handy. Wednesday's Venus-Saturn conjunction in
your solar eleventh house favors getting kind advice from friends or
mentors. Pluto makes a station in your sign Friday; you may rethink
how to take back control of your life or your business. On Thursday
someone (possibly your mate) may suggest taking a course just to
stimulate your minds.
AQUARIUS
- Jan. 20-Feb. 17 – The Moon is in Aquarius from 8:05 am
Sunday till Tuesday morning. During the Sunday pm hours you are
feeling distinctly unloved, and not inclined to grant any favors
since you are not in any warm-n-fuzzy mood. On Monday you can wake
with a chip on your shoulder, but try to shrug it off before entering
the office. Wednesday's Venus-Saturn conjunction in your career
sector smooths the edges of your ambition, and helps you schmooze
successfully with superiors.
PISCES
- Feb. 18-March 19 – The Moon is in Pisces from 9:58 am
Tuesday till midday Thursday. A late lunch Tuesday leads to extra
sluggishness, so eat light-n-healthy. Tuesday late-night favors
quality time with loved ones. Wednesday's Venus-Saturn conjunction
makes you yearn to travel to ancient places. Early Wednesday
afternoon has you thinking big, about expanding family or taking a
long trip. There might be some resistance to those plans on Thursday,
tho.

Your Milky Way Horoscope Sept. 8-14, 2013
By
Milky Way Maid
Mercury enters Libra
at 3:07 am Monday. Mercury in
Libra is VERY fair-minded, and generally makes a point of listening
to both sides before saying anything. Must mention that the youthful
Mercury-in-Libra person spends too much time looking for acceptance
from others when giving an opinion, because they are afraid of saying
the wrong thing. This is why people think they are indecisive. Libras
can lose their balance, honest, as well as their integrity and
perspective, if they do not learn what is importance to THEM and not
to others. The mature Mercury-in-Libra person learns how to say what
needs to be said, but in a softer, gentler manner so that it goes
down easily. Sometimes has a wonderful vocal gift for accents or
languages – can project voice without distortion.
Sometimes
the Mercury-in-Libra person can see in a flash what the solution to a
problem is, but then they try to back up and figure it out logically
– they should learn to trust that intuition. As an air sign is
capable of real wisdom, or the most awful superficiality. Famous
people with Mercury in Libra include:
Queen Elizabeth I, golfer Arnold Palmer, Margaret Chase Smith, Henry
Ford II, and actor David McCallum.
Mars at 7 degrees Leo
squares Saturn in Scorpio at 7:06 am Monday. Could
be an Oopsie day, with a broken bone or two if it contacts something
in your natal chart. Arguments (Mars) may lead to saying goodbye or
firing (Saturn). This is a very touchy aspect and you may have to
walk on eggshells this morning. An irresistible force (Mars) meets an
immoveable object (Saturn) – meaning, do not get into arguments
that will change no one's minds.
Venus leaves her home
in Libra for Scorpio at 2:16 am Wednesday, Sept. 11. Venus
in Scorpio is said to be in her detriment – although it must be
said that this Venus wears the little black dress like NOBODY else.
This Venus can get so much just by whispering a word in your ear, or
even by saying nothing at all, and her eyes can be more suggestive
than the crudest gesture. Sometimes Venus in Scorpio tries to control
or manipulate others, but that is so unattractive! Scorpio rules The
Hidden, and in this case, Venus can draw out the hidden talents or
hidden side of anyone or anything. Can rouse and strengthen the power
that others have over their own lives and talents, showing them their
(previously hidden) worth.
Venus
in Scorpio can be very possessive, although their magnetism should be
enough to keep someone close by. Love lives can be stormy, only
because they want to experience the highs and the lows – and the
fun of making up. Famous people with Venus in Scorpio
include: opera singer Joan
Sutherland, actress Mary Martin, Queen Marie Antoinette, actress
Patty Duke, singer Connie Francis, pacifist Mohandas Gandhi, tycoon
J. Paul Getty, evangelist Billy Graham, actress Sophia Loren and
pianist Vladimir Horowitz.
Venus at 3 degrees
Scorpio trines Neptune in Pisces at 2:33 am Saturday. Venus
and Neptune together make for that treacherous “in love with love”
dreamy-eyed mood that leads one down the primrose path. You tend to
fall for all the wrong people, people who may not be what they say
they are. Best to stay home and watch the late movie. Might be good
for looking at cameras.
Mercury at 9 degrees
Libra squares Pluto in Capricorn at 4:28 pm Saturday.
This is great for doing heavy research or ferreting out the truth in
your best Sam Spade impression. The square indicates it won't be
easy, nothing will be handed to you, and you will have to shake a lot
of trees before the apples of truth fall into your hands.
Mars
at 11 degrees Leo trines Uranus in Aries at 4:56 pm Saturday. Ooh,
here's a good opportunity to buy that new computer or car you've had
your eyes on. I've told you before that good aspects between Mars and
Uranus favor buying anything mechanical, electronic, electrical, etc.
So this category covers everything from cars, computers and cameras
to some little gadget from Radio Shack. You could install the new
garage door opener this weekend, too.
