Your Milky Way Horoscope Oct. 13-19, 2013
By
Milky Way Maid
Mars enters Virgo at
7:05 am Tuesday. Mars in Virgo
is so bent on being proven himself right that he loses the point of
it all. Truth is an either-or game to them, where winning means
proving not only that he is right, but all others are wrong. Too
quick to criticize and judge, particularly on inconsequential
details. But that is a description of immature Virgo energy. A more
mature Virgo is delighted to show others how to do something so that
they can straighten out their lives and develop their talents. They
can motivate others to master skills at bookkeeping, crafts such as
weaving or sewing, time management, homemaking, nutrition, or
management of chronic illnesses.
Mars
in Virgo can be very detached as it goes about solving a problem. You
are not distracted by emotional considerations (even though it might
help you to be more effective at helping others if you could connect
on the emotional level). Famous people with Mars in Virgo
include: comic Bob Hope, Napoleon Bonaparte, Joan of Arc, baby-doc
Benjamin Spock, architect Eero Saarinen, revolutionary Fidel Castro,
golfer Ben Hogan, actresses Geraldine Chaplin and Romy Schneider,
Alexander the Great, and Chiang Kai-Shek.
Venus at 10 degrees
Sag trines Uranus in Aries at 6:04 pm Wednesday. Ah,
a charming foreigner, or someone with an accent anyway, looks awfully
interesting to you. You may run into rather strange people who alter
your idea of what normal is, or challenge you to stretch personal
boundaries and definitions. Any friendships or romances struck up
under this aspect tend to be short-lived, altho it seems to me that
the friendships last a lot longer than the romances.
Mars at 2 degrees
Virgo opposes Neptune in Pisces at 9:54 pm Saturday. If
this aspect contacts any natal planets at 2 degrees or so, then be
most careful of your health and conserve your energies. Not that this
is life-endangering or anything, but it sure saps your energy.
Possible manifestations include fevers or infections (Mars), or
enervating illnesses (Neptune) such as flu, chronic fatigue syndrome,
malaria, and anything that is hard to diagnose. This is not the time
to embark on a long trip or some major project requiring long hours
of hard work.

Wednesday till early Saturday. You may retreat to a favorite cinema
Monday night. Mars enters your health sector on Tuesday so you might

edge Thursday. There's a Full Moon in your sign Friday night;
conflicting demands of career and family cause stress so you will
have to find a way to balance them.
TAURUS
- April 20-May 20 – Mars enters your solar fifth house of
fun on Tuesday; you enjoy attending sports events or may fall in love
with a Mars type (tool guy, athlete, cop, car or motorcycle nut). The
Moon is in Taurus from 3:27 am Saturday thru the weekend. Your energy
is high early Sat. morn so tackle a dirty chore. Then you can enjoy
coffee with a ditzy relative or neighbor. You have a good chat with a
mentor Sat. night.
GEMINI
- May 21-June 20 - Mars enters your solar fourth house of fun
on Tuesday; while there is some danger of fire, it is more likely
that TOOLS will be employed in renovating the home. Stick to routine
matters on Wednesday. A friend really upsets you Thursday afternoon.
On Saturday morning you enjoy a volunteer opportunity in the
neighborhood.
CANCER
- June 21-July 22 – You may have to get after the kids all
day Sunday about homework. A college class may seem very confusing
Monday night. Mars enters your solar third house of fun on Tuesday;
you become more verbally assertive and it's about time! Stick to
routine matters on Wednesday. Someone may get your goat at work
Thursday afternoon. A day trip with friends beckons Saturday.
LEO
- July 23-Aug. 22 – Sunday may be the most stressful day of
the week, balancing family duties with work-related travel. You feel
a need to do something creative Monday night. Mars enters your solar
second house on Tuesday; you may get steamed over excessive service
fees or commissions. A Full Moon on Friday in Aries highlights
independent study or international travel. Career demands leak into
your Saturday weekend again, but you may wrap up a sale early that
morning.
VIRGO
- Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – On Sunday you may worry (probably
needlessly) about family history of medical conditions. On Monday
night your mate seems like a real live dreamboat. Mars enters your
sign on Tuesday; this is a great time to start an exercise program
and recharge your batteries. Stick to routine matters on Wednesday.
Your X-ray powers of analysis are keen midday Thursday. Friday's Full
Moon accents stresses in the money sectors.
LIBRA
- Sept. 23-Oct. 22 - Mars enters your solar twelfth house on
Tuesday; um, do the words “passive-aggressive” ring a bell with
you? Stick to routine matters on Wednesday. Your mate may upset you
awfully Thursday afternoon. A dear relative or neighbor does you a
favor Thursday night. A Full Moon in your seventh house of partners
may accent stresses in your relationships. Saturday offers a splendid
morning for creative pursuits, even though it may seem at first that
your efforts are not panning out.
SCORPIO
- Oct. 23-Nov. 21 – You may have a hard time finding words
to express your ideas Sunday. Monday night offers an enjoyable movie
outing. Mars enters your solar eleventh house on Tuesday; you may
join a team sport, or become the best fan your team ever had. Stick
to routine matters on Wednesday. A money gift may come to you
Thursday thru a co-worker. Friday's Full Moon accents health issues,
possibly you latch onto a doctor you really trust. On Saturday
morning you enjoy doing something creative with your mate.
SAGITTARIUS
- Nov. 22-Dec. 21 - Mars enters your solar tenth house on
Tuesday; you put a lot of energy into career ambitions. Stick to
routine matters on Wednesday. One of the kids gets you terribly upset
Thursday afternoon. Friday's Full Moon accents your creative
pursuits; perhaps you push yourself with a new training course.
Saturday offers time to indulge your creative side; take a camera
along to capture fall color which you recreate on canvas.
CAPRICORN
- Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – You may get lost driving Monday night.
Mars enters your solar ninth house on Tuesday; you are eager to start
a crash course to learn everything about a new area of interest. A
home repairman upsets you Thursday afternoon. Friday's Full Moon
accents stresses in balancing family life and career; help may come
from relatives or neighbors. That crash course (mentioned in Tuesday
note) may start on Saturday.
AQUARIUS
- Jan. 20-Feb. 17 – The Moon is in Aquarius from Sunday till
Monday night. Visit someplace new Sunday morning; take a drive to
unexplored territory – but check for road closures and museum hours
before choosing a target. You may have a chip on your shoulder Monday
afternoon, but try not to read something into innocent remarks. Mars
enters your solar eighth house on Tuesday, bringing an earthy
sexiness to the fore.
PISCES
- Feb. 18-March 19 – The Moon is in Pisces from 5:06 pm
Monday till Wednesday night. You hold onto positive thoughts about
difficult people Monday night, but be realistic about their motives.
Mars enters your opposite sign Tuesday morning; an energetic person
may enter your life with an apparent mission to educate and train
you. A friend may subtly control a morning discussion. You may have a
heart-to-heart with an older person over Tuesday lunch. You may get
promises of help Tuesday night. Wednesday has a void Moon so stick to
routine matters.
