Your Milky Way Horoscope April 6-12, 2014
By
Milky Way Maid
Mercury enters Aries
at 11:35 am Monday. Mercury in
Aries has an unfortunate habit of making authoritative pronouncements
as if they were holy writ, appearing overbearing or even aggressive.
However, the real Aries gift for leading and inspiring others can be
expressed through that Mercury so that others willingly follow where
you lead. In everyday life, Mercury in Aries is original, a seeker of
novel ideas and news, witty, able to think on his or her feet. The
downside is that you want your own way at all times, and want your
orders followed immediately. Good at leadership in general, whether
conducting a band or heading a company. Famous people with Mercury in
Aries include: TV comedian Carol Burnett, silent comedian Charlie
Chaplin, astronomer Copernicus, conductor Arturo Toscanini, actress
Hayley Mills, playwright William Shakespeare, and painter Vincent Van
Gogh.
The Sun at 19 degrees
Aries opposes Mars in Libra at 5:04 pm Tuesday.
The opposition is projection; we perceive others as being angry,
argumentative, or competitive, but it is our own such traits that are
yearning for expression. Sports or exercise are the most socially
accepted ways of working off this kind of energy. To some extent,
debate is also accepted, if we are in a situation where we are asked
to make our case. We want to prove our case or prove ourselves. We
are secretly glad when someone else challenges us to prove our case.
Venus at 6 degrees
Pisces conjuncts Neptune at 10:24 pm Friday.
If you ever want to fall in love, this is a good time to do it. The
other person will seem like everything you have ever wanted; whether
that impression will be backed up with solid attributes is another
question. The other main interpretation of this aspect has to do with
giving things away. You may become convinced that the other person or
organization really needs the item, or that it is going to a
legitimate charity. It may turn out that the receiver is really a
scammer who has been taking advantage of your altruistic, idealistic
side. The day favors artistic pursuits, when you have a vision of the
finished work, possibly a total fantasy of an ideal world, but so
beautiful that it can inspire anyone who sees or hears it. The day
does NOT favor business transactions unless possibly you are buying
art materials, or a ticket to an art museum. The day favors spending
time with loved ones, preferably on a deserted island with no
distractions!

Readers
can follow not only their Sun sign horoscope but also their Ascendant
for further clues to how your week will develop. NOTE: some aspects
are exact on a weekend but may find opportunity for expression on the
Friday or Monday nearest the exact aspect. Times given are in Eastern
Standard or Eastern Daylight Savings Time depending on the season.
ARIES
- March 20-April 19 – Mercury enters your sign Monday; you
grab the microphone and give everyone the benefit of your thoughts,
whether they want them or not. Also on Monday, cardinal signs are
stressed or challenged, as the case may be, by the Moon squaring both
the Sun and Mars; you are eager to spring-clean your home and put in
the garden. Tuesday afternoon may bring a chance to state your case
in your most persuasive manner. Wednesday may be the best day of your
week; you exercise leadership, or contribute to a brainstorming
session.
TAURUS
- April 20-May 20 - Mercury enters your solar twelfth house
Monday; you may handle confidential matters or secret messages, or
just enjoy reading your spy novels. Take care to pace yourself
Tuesday if doing physical work in your home or garden. You might host
a foreigner in your home starting Wednesday morning. Do not validate
pessimistic feelings Thursday. Friday night favors having relatives
over for dinner.
GEMINI
- May 21-June 20 – You are very optimistic about your
financial health Sunday, but that does not mean you should go
overboard on spending. Mercury enters your solar eleventh house
Monday; you may accept the challenge of writing the newsletter or
brochures just to keep busy. Friends may not be too supportive of
your recent creative efforts Tuesday. A neighbor seems like a
fascinating romantic prospect Wednesday. Friday night may be the best
time to have your banker or investment advisor over for dinner.
CANCER
- June 21-July 22 – The Moon is in Cancer from Sunday till
Tuesday morning. Mercury enters your solar tenth house Monday;
business presentations or conference calls rule the month, especially
if you are the one inviting others to gather. Also on Monday,
cardinal signs are stressed or challenged, as the case may be, by the
Moon squaring both the Sun and Mars; you are eager to enter sales
competitions at work.
LEO
- July 23-Aug. 22 – Mercury enters your solar ninth house
Monday; you may set out on a trip to a foreign country, or enroll in
a class to stimulate your brain cells. The Moon is in Leo from 5:50
am Tuesday till Thursday night. You may extend or receive offers to
help Tuesday morning. You may feel frustrated by stumbling blocks
Thursday but that feeling will pass; the Moon is void most of today
so stick to routine. There is some risk of losses if you invest
through others on Friday.
VIRGO
- Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – Mercury
enters your solar eighth house Monday; you may blurt out things
regarding taboo topics, much to your chagrin. The Moon is in
Virgo from 6:08 pm Thursday till next Sunday morning. Friday favors
having a relative or neighbor over for dinner to tell all about their
long trip. Best to hide the credit card from your spouse Friday
night. A new acquaintance Friday may seem so nice but is a charlatan
at heart. Take an older sibling or other relative out to lunch
Saturday for a productive chat.
LIBRA
- Sept. 23-Oct. 22 - Mercury enters your solar seventh house
Monday; you may learn some surprising things about your partner,
things that probably show what a self-starter he or she is. Also on
Monday, cardinal signs are stressed or challenged, as the case may
be, by the Moon squaring both the Sun and Mars; you are eager to take
your mate along on business trips. Practice biting your tongue
Tuesday, or get dragged into fruitless arguments. Wednesday may be
your best day. Start off with telling your mate a joke in the
morning. Have friends over for dinner that night.
SCORPIO
- Oct. 23-Nov. 21 - Mercury enters your solar sixth house
Monday; there is more chatter with coworkers, and you may have
several appointments for health checkups or treatments. Monday
afternoon is most productive for knocking things off your to-do list.
Pace yourself Tuesday if doing physical work; you may also visit a
clinic for medical tests. Change in the workplace is in the wind for
Wednesday. The Moon is void most of Thursday so stick to routine.
SAGITTARIUS
- Nov. 22-Dec. 21 - Mercury enters your solar fifth house
Monday; you organize fun expeditions and parties, while enjoying
playing the tour guide. Tuesday morn is most auspicious for
contacting arts professionals and gallery owners. The afternoon is
contentious when friends are not quite supportive of your creative
ambitions. Stick to routine on Thursday. Thoroughly check out home
repair companies Friday before contracting with anyone.
CAPRICORN
- Dec. 22-Jan. 19 - Mercury enters your solar fourth house
Monday; you go through old photo albums and convert pictures into
online blogs or scrapbooks. Also on Monday, cardinal signs are
stressed or challenged, as the case may be, by the Moon squaring both
the Sun and Mars; you are eager to settle into a new home with your
mate. Friday evening is most favorable for your ambitions, as your
mate helps entertain influential people for dinner.
AQUARIUS
- Jan. 20-Feb. 17 - Mercury enters your solar third house
Monday; you breeze through word games and novels, and may run into
old school chums. Tuesday spawns arguments over what you think you
know, and your philosophical views on life. Back up your mate's goals
on Wednesday; this might mean helping loan the family car with
deliveries. Stick to routine on Thursday.
PISCES
- Feb. 18-March 19 – Mercury enters your solar second house
Monday; you talk about finances, usually to give orders to your
banker or broker. You can be especially disciplined Monday night
about your studies. Friday is the worst time to decide about
charitable gifts. Friday night favors cuddling up with your mate and
a romantic movie. Saturday favors discussion with a lawyer or other
advisor, or with a mentor-type friend.

Your Milky Way Horoscope March 30-April 5, 2014
By
Milky Way Maid
Dear
Readers-- I continue to recover from an episode of blood clots on the
lungs. Thanks for your good thoughts and get-well wishes. Please
visit the website of the National Blood Clot Alliance at
StopTheClot.org to learn more about blood clots and when you might
need to see a doctor about it.
The Sun at 11 degrees
Aries squares Jupiter in Cancer at 3:40 am Tuesday. The
Sun square Jupiter can mean “too much of a good thing” which
could take the form of a hangover literally or figuratively. You may
see the light re what your course of action is going to lead you to,
and decide to shape up and aim for a higher level of conduct.
The Sun at 12 degrees
Aries is conjunct Uranus at 3:08 am Wednesday.
The Sun with unique Uranus can make one a rebel, eccentric, a
brilliant inventor, a natural at electronics or astrology or
psychology. And you may be a perfectly normal person but if this
transit affects your personal planets, something you say may be heard
as something totally off the wall.
Mercury at 22 degrees
Pisces trines Saturn in Scorpio at 11:02 pm Wednesday.
Mercury and Saturn work well together on difficult, tedious projects
like auditing the books, writing a scientific paper, editing,
crunching numbers, wading through statistical data.
The Sun at 13 degrees
Aries squares Pluto in Capricorn at 5:19 am Thursday.
The Sun when squared by Pluto suffers from having the rug pulled out
from under it. Examples such as-- you are entered in a competition
but have to withdraw because of illness or something. You are
scheduled for an interview but the person you were supposed to see is
out that day, so you have to make another appointment. Or you were
expecting to be sent out on a construction job but your name has been
scratched off the crew list.
Venus enters Pisces at
4:31 pm Friday. Venus is
exalted in Pisces, which I presume is because of its self-sacrificing
quality there – a quality not exactly valued in modern society.

for further clues to how your week will develop. NOTE: some aspects
are exact on a weekend but may find opportunity for expression on the
Friday or Monday nearest the exact aspect. Times given are in Eastern
Standard or Eastern Daylight Savings Time depending on the season.
ARIES
- March 20-April 19 – The Moon is in Aries from Sunday till
the wee hours of Tuesday. There's a New Moon at 10 degrees Aries at
2:45 pm Sunday; the Moon soon joins Uranus and squares both Jupiter
and Pluto. Events may start to happen lightning-fast in whatever
sectors they are located in on your natal chart, so hold onto your
hat. Having a chip on your shoulder midday Monday will not aid
relationship matters. Mid to late afternoon favors spending time with
a dear friend. Thursday is very stressful for all the cardinal signs,
and you may need to seek best advice on what to do next.
TAURUS
- April 20-May 20 – The Aries New Moon will contact your
health houses and travel, so take extra care when driving or flying.
The Moon is in Taurus from 1:20 am Tuesday till Thursday morning. You
enjoy lunch Tuesday with a ditzy friend. Tuesday night can be pretty
lucky if you make a short trip, especially if you go with a relative
or neighbor. You may not feel warm and fuzzy Wednesday night. Make a
bit of effort to show your creative works Friday night, because you
may make a sale.
GEMINI
- May 21-June 20 – The Aries New Moon will contact your
money houses and friends; do not lend money to friends, for one
thing. The Moon is in Gemini from 7:48 am Thursday till Saturday
afternoon. Plans to go to the movies Thursday night just aren't going
to work out. You hear a good joke early Friday, and tell it to a
friend at lunch. Your energy is very good late Friday, so have your
chore list ready. You are still absorbed in tasks Saturday morning.
CANCER
- June 21-July 22 – Read Aries re the New Moon because this
will also affect you. A professor or editor may do you a favor Monday
afternoon. You may differ with the boss early Tuesday, but smooth
things over by mid-morning. Thursday is very stressful for all the
cardinal signs, and you may need to seek best advice on what to do
next. You prefer to cocoon on Friday, possibly with a phone in your
hand. The Moon is in Cancer from 5:40 pm Saturday thru the weekend.
Dinner hour on Saturday is very congenial if you have professional
friends as guests. Venus enters your solar ninth house of travel, law
and college; you might receive an offer to accompany a dear person
for free on a trip, or receive critical support from an editor or
professor.
LEO
- July 23-Aug. 22 - The Aries New Moon will contact your
health houses and travel, so take extra care when driving or flying.
You may find great legal advice Tuesday but it'll cost you. A foreign
port of call beckons you for your next trip, possibly to see a VIP. A
union strike may nix hopes of that trip, though, so make a Plan B.
Venus enters your solar eighth house of joint finances; you may get a
larger tax refund than you expected, or some legacy comes through.
VIRGO
- Aug. 23-Sept. 22 - The Aries New Moon will contact your
money houses and friends; do not lend money to friends, for one
thing. Too much of a good thing may land you in trouble early Tuesday
morning. Venus enters your solar seventh house; relationships become
calm and idyllic.
LIBRA
- Sept. 23-Oct. 22 - Read Aries re the New Moon because this
will also affect you. Career demands and your mate are in conflict
Tuesday; possibly your mate is gone from home too much due to work
schedules and travel. Thursday is very stressful for all the cardinal
signs, possibly with a turn-down of a loan application. Friday night
is excellent for brainstorming sessions with other air sign natives.
Venus enters your solar sixth house of workplaces; you may make a new
friend among your coworkers.
SCORPIO
- Oct. 23-Nov. 21 - The Aries New Moon will contact your
health houses and travel, so take extra care when driving or flying.
An unexpected trip related to work may be offered midweek, although
you may ultimately turn it down. You prefer to cocoon on Friday,
possibly watching sports on TV. Venus enters your solar fifth house
of fun; a lovely and loving new romantic interest makes your life
interesting, and creative pursuits do well.
SAGITTARIUS
- Nov. 22-Dec. 21 - The Aries New Moon will contact your money
houses and friends; do not lend money to friends, for one thing. You
may overspend wildly on children or on your art supplies this week,
even maxing out a credit card. Friday night favors a night spent with
your mate and good friends. Venus enters your solar fourth house; you
may redecorate the home a bit, or spruce up with paint or flowers.
CAPRICORN
- Dec. 22-Jan. 19 - Read Aries re the New Moon because this
will also affect you. There may be strain with your mate early
Tuesday over overdoing or overindulging. You may play host to a
foreign guest Wednesday, so brush up on your languages. Thursday is
very stressful for all the cardinal signs, and you may need to seek
best advice on what to do next. The workplace is on your mind Friday,
possibly with new computer software to install and test.
AQUARIUS
- Jan. 20-Feb. 17 - The Aries New Moon will contact your
health houses and travel, so take extra care when driving or flying.
You may have a difference of opinion with a professor or lawyer
Monday. Too much of a good thing could land you in the ER early
Tuesday. Friday night is excellent for brainstorming sessions with
other air sign natives. Venus enters your financial sector on
Saturday; you may gain gifts or perks, so say thank and you enjoy!
PISCES
- Feb. 18-March 19 - The Aries New Moon will contact your
money houses and friends; do not lend money to friends, for one
thing. You could find a financial backer on Monday night. Don't let
an eccentric stranger rattle you early Wednesday. Mercury in your
sign gets an assist from Saturn Wednesday night to help you crunch
numbers or interpret data. Venus enters your sign Saturday; make an
appointment for the salon soon.

Mercury at 11 degrees
Pisces trines Jupiter in Cancer at 9:11 am Wednesday. Jupiter
is the higher octave of Mercury since both are mental planets; that
means this should be a fine day for studies, for enrolling in the
right college program for you, or for finding a teacher or tutor or
guru.
Mercury at 13 degrees
Pisces sextiles Pluto in Capricorn at 1:30 am Friday.
Mercury and Pluto together are excellent for digging down thru
research files, doing forensic accounting, or any other type of
detective work.
Venus at 22 degrees
Aquarius trines Mars in Libra at 3:05 pm Saturday.
As you can probably guess Venus and Mars in any harmonious aspect
favor romantic relationships, or actually any type of close
partnership. It is even good for buying or selling, if they rule the
buyer and seller in a horary chart.
Venus at 22 degrees
Aquarius squares Saturn in Scorpio at 5:14 pm Saturday.
Venus with Saturn can be either good or bad; it can mean a difficult
time in a relationship, or it can mean formalizing the relationship
with an engagement or wedding. The square tends to accent the
stresses, a separation or perhaps having to work hard at clearing up
problems.

Readers
can follow not only their Sun sign horoscope but also their Ascendant
for further clues to how your week will develop. NOTE: some aspects
are exact on a weekend but may find opportunity for expression on the
Friday or Monday nearest the exact aspect. Times given are in Eastern
Standard or Eastern Daylight Savings Time depending on the season.
ARIES
- March 20-April 19 – Juno is aspected by Mercury on
Wednesday and Friday, and errors on your part may be found by
auditors or other coworkers. Take correction with good grace so that
this does not happen again. The Moon is in Aries from 9:54 pm
Saturday and stays thru the weekend. The Moon makes no aspects
however, so you are probably free to follow your own agenda.
TAURUS
- April 20-May 20 – The best time this week may be early
Monday (about 6 am) if you want to reach a friend or your old
professor. Friday afternoon is also favorable for you, if needing a
favor from a relative or neighbor. Remember to use your best smile.
Your ruler Venus is active this Saturday with a trine to Mars in
Libra and a square to Saturn in Scorpio; your mate might have plenty
of cash on hand but be reluctant to hand it over unless you “work”
for it.
GEMINI
- May 21-June 20 – Wednesday is very favorable for
brainstorming regarding work, career, or financial matters. Saturday
afternoon is very favorable for air signs to make time for romantic
relationships; take a day trip together, make plans for the future,
or just enjoy being together whatever you do. Saturday is especially
favorable for Geminis to hold a brainstorming session to gather new
ideas or try to predict the future. Take good notes and save the
winnowing out for another time.
CANCER
- June 21-July 22 – On Monday morning, Jupiter in your sign
is ready to move to a foreign country, or otherwise over-react to
issues with your current home. Wednesday morning is much more
favorable for actually dealing with personal or educational matters,
so walk into the office and ask to speak to someone about college
finances or whatever else is on your mind. Your sense of well-being
returns Friday afternoon, and can leak out to the benefit of everyone
in the workplace.
LEO
- July 23-Aug. 22 – The week is not particularly favorable
for you but you tend to make your own luck anyway. If you are
involved in a family business or would like to be, Wednesday may be
quite significant for that. You could be asked to join the crew or
staff. It'll be fun! Really! The other big trine is on Saturday and
involves your mate and possibly another relative; perhaps you could
get together and start making plans for the wedding, or that
honeymoon you could never take before this.
VIRGO
- Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – Mars in your money house gets a welcome
trine from Venus the cash queen on Saturday afternoon; there is a
chance you could find a way to pay off or finance a debt, so it
doesn't hurt to ask. Ruler Mercury gets positive aspects on early
Monday morning, very positive on Wednesday morning, and gets
emotional on Friday night. Friday night is actually favorable for
writing a heartfelt letter or calling someone you have been meaning
to talk to and catch up with.
LIBRA
- Sept. 23-Oct. 22 – Wednesday is very favorable for
brainstorming regarding work, career, or financial matters. Your
ruler Venus is conjunct the Moon on Thursday; ask for that favor and
you shall receive. Saturday afternoon is very favorable for air signs
to make time for romantic relationships; take a day trip together,
make plans for the future, or just enjoy being together whatever you
do. Your ruler Venus is activated on Saturday you cannot let this day
go by without at least talking with your life partner.
SCORPIO
- Oct. 23-Nov. 21 – On
Tuesday, Saturn in your sign gets some relief from a kindly Moon
sextile; maybe you can swap some work for a favor. Wednesday
morning should be a great time for possibly holding a brainstorming
session with creative people or brainiacs. Be sure to make good notes
of even flimsy-looking ideas, because sifting through them should be
left for another time. Even better would be to work on creative
pursuits; take a camera or easel to a scenic place to work.
SAGITTARIUS
- Nov. 22-Dec. 21 – The Moon is in Sag Sunday until about 4
pm. Early risers are full of energy and willing to go on a little
hike to find signs of spring. Ruler Jupiter receives unfavorable
transits on Monday morning, but very favorable transits on Wednesday
morning and Friday afternoon. So keep that in mind if making
appointments or walking into a business office. I do have to mention
a caution for Friday morning when confusion can reign at home and
even make you late for work.
CAPRICORN
- Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – The Moon is in Capricorn from 4:03 pm
Sunday till Tuesday night. Relationships late Sunday night are apt to
be strained, but probably only a matter of fatigue, so get your rest
and deal with things another time. Early risers on Monday can take
care of a lot of correspondence. Mid-morning might find you
over-reacting to some issues about your home. Try to relax with a
nice mystery novel later in the day. Early risers on Tuesday set a
heavy agenda for themselves and get most of it done.
AQUARIUS
- Jan. 20-Feb. 17 – The Moon is in Aquarius from 6:39 pm
Tuesday till Thursday night. False starts mar Tuesday night.
Wednesday morning is excellent for taking a class or for a meeting of
the minds in general. You enjoy being able to personalize a program
or app that afternoon. Your energy is good on Thursday but the Moon
being void almost all day does not favor new business or work
matters. Venus is conjunct the Moon on Thursday; ask for that favor
and you shall receive.
PISCES
- Feb. 18-March 19 – The Moon is in Pisces from 8:10 pm till
Saturday night. Friday is a lazy day feeling, although by afternoon
you may feel like exploring new places. Dinner out with your mate is
fine, but you really enjoy conversation or listening to a lecture
Friday night. Saturday morning favors a serious discussion with a
mentor type. Saturday might see matters related to a family business
or legacy in progress.

Your Milky Way Horoscope March 16-22, 2014
By
Milky Way Maid
Mercury enters Pisces
at 6:24 pm Monday. (Mercury was
in Pisces briefly in February before going retrograde into Aquarius.
Now Mercury is in Pisces for good until April 7.) Mercury
in Pisces is more intuitive than academic, although natives can get
good grades in school due to a very good memory. Mercury here can
receive sharp perceptions, but have trouble communicating their
insights clearly because of emotional baggage. Nevertheless, Pisces
Mercury can rise above fears, and invite others to experience their
psychic impressions. Cling to ideals, which have a healing quality in
a chaotic world. Mercury in Pisces can be very creative, although
natives often need a period of gestation for their ideas to percolate
to the surface. Famous people with Mercury in Pisces
include: Leontyne Price, Victor Hugo, Abraham Lincoln, Eugene
McCarthy, Earl Warren, Sidney Poitier, Robert Frost, and W E B
DuBois.
Venus at 11 degrees
Aquarius sextiles Uranus in Aries at 3 pm Tuesday.
A positive aspect like this between Venus and Uranus can bring a
sudden attraction to a foreigner or someone with an accent, and end
more happily than with the square or opposition. Alas a relationship
is likely to not last much longer than it would with a stressful
aspect – but you can still try to nail down that charming stranger.
The Sun enters Aries
at 12:57 pm Thursday, marking the Vernal Equinox.
Sun in Aries is active, a self-starter, an igniter – someone who
initiates contact and projects. Aries natives like to feel
independent, even tho they may wind up in a service job such as
waiter or waitress so that they can change employers more easily when
they need a change. Aries is not really good working as part of a
team, unless it is to carry out a solo function such as sales,
delivery, etc. Needs a way to express their dynamic energy, because
being chained to a desk will not cut it with them. The Sun in Aries
is assertive, kinetic, fiery, pioneering, adventuresome, competitive,
ambitious, and inspiring. Needs to be his own boss, have his own home
and family. Tends to jump into a situation before sizing things up or
getting pointers from a pro. In other words, does not always look
before leaping. Famous people with the Sun in Aries
include: singer Doris Day,

Mercury at 6 degrees
Pisces is conjunct Neptune again at 4:16 pm Saturday.
The Sun was conjunct Neptune on Feb. 23, so this could be the arrival
of some news (Mercury) related to a person (Sun) known to you,
depending on where it is in your own chart. In regards to any
personal business, it definitely does NOT favor signing any contracts
or estimates; something is sure to be left out or unclear. And you
are likely to fill the gaps with wishful thinking rather than facts.

Readers
can follow not only their Sun sign horoscope but also their Ascendant
for further clues to how your week will develop. NOTE: some aspects
are exact on a weekend but may find opportunity for expression on the
Friday or Monday nearest the exact aspect. Times given are in Eastern
Standard or Eastern Daylight Savings Time depending on the season.
ARIES
- March 20-April 19 – Monday can be rather stressful with
new goals set out for you at work. Tuesday afternoon has Venus
laughing, possibly from jokes told by a friend. Wednesday looks
pretty murky. The Aries ingress on Thursday favors getting business
loans, as you impress the banker with your serious and detailed
plans. Midday or early pm on Friday is really pretty good for either
leadership or holding a brainstorming session.
TAURUS
- April 20-May 20 – Sunday's Full Moon in compatible Virgo
looks favorable for the next two weeks; your mate is secure in his
leadership, too. Mercury re-enters Pisces, your solar eleventh house;
you may reconnect with friends who had seemingly gone into hiding. A
charming foreigner at work may not be a big supporter of your record
Tuesday. Financial matters are stressful on Friday; cash machines may
not work, or a deposit may not have cleared yet. A friend's message
is badly garbled Saturday.
GEMINI
- May 21-June 20 – Sunday's Full Moon is favorable for home
and family matters, although work demands may cut into time spent
with family. Mercury re-enters your career sector but that may not be
a good thing. A friend may introduce you to a charming foreigner on
Tuesday. You socialize more in the coming month, possibly because
you initiate day trips or other outings together. Be alert to
confusing memos from bosses going into the weekend.
CANCER
- June 21-July 22 – A Full Moon on Sunday in compatible
Virgo accents communications and education; you might focus on a
child's applications to schools for next year. There are confusing
influences if you are looking at colleges, so make sure that their
written instructions on applications are correct. The Sun enters your
career sector Thursday; the tempo may quicken, and interdepartmental
competitions pique your interest.
LEO
- July 23-Aug. 22 – Sunday's Full Moon in Virgo puts a happy
accent on finances. You love your mate dearly, but this month he may
sound like a dithering idiot. The Aries ingress on Thursday is
positive for new starts in areas like legal matters, college, law, or
starting a new website. Finances could be stressful on Friday, with
things going wrong like a cash machine not working or a computer
server going down.
VIRGO
- Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – The Moon is in Virgo from Sunday till
Sunday night. The Full Moon at 26 degrees Virgo is exact at 1:08 pm
Sunday. You may have to twist an arm but you succeed in getting a
favor returned Sunday. Foreign investments are not favored Monday.
Communications can be vague but awfully inspiring Wednesday. Family
matters are confused and stressful Friday night. A sibling may wish
to kiss and make up Saturday afternoon.
LIBRA
- Sept. 23-Oct. 22 – The Moon is in Libra from 8:46 pm
Sunday till early Wednesday. A daughter says something sweet and
loving Monday morning. Someone could upset your applecart Monday
evening. Your emotions are stirred up Tuesday night. On Saturday
morning, a relative or neighbor may introduce you to a charming
stranger. Saturday afternoon favors an outing with a daughter. The
Aries ingress may be marked by pessimism regarding your finances.
SCORPIO
- Oct. 23-Nov. 21 – Monday could be a very active day
affecting children; possibly scholarships are on the agenda. The Moon
is in Scorpio from 5:13 am Wednesday till midday Friday. Wednesday
morn is buoyed by offers of help; the afternoon floats along on a
wave of idealism. You'll look good to the boss if you go in early
Thursday to tame the paperwork dragon. Career questions could get an
OK from the boss before the day is out on Thursday. Saturday
afternoon has a Moon-Venus sextile; treat a friend to lunch.
SAGITTARIUS
- Nov. 22-Dec. 21 – The Moon is in Sag from 11:39 am Friday
thru most of the weekend. Friday afternoon favors holding a
brainstorming session. Friday night is fine for cocooning with some
movies. Spend time with children Saturday morning; their jokes and
games will do you good. Saturday afternoon favors shopping with a
relative, or just spending some quality time together.
CAPRICORN
- Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – Sunday morning favors sharing brunch
with an old friend, possibly an old lawyer friend. Mercury re-enters
your communications house but confusion lurks. Use caution Wednesday
if you receive letters or emails from a scammer using the address of
someone you know. The Sun enters your solar fourth house on Thursday,
accenting family matters; you may host a charming foreign exchange
student.
AQUARIUS
- Jan. 20-Feb. 17 – A new neighbor may have a charming
accent; hold an informal party to get acquainted. Mercury re-enters
your money sector but confusion lurks; be sure to check receipts and
statements, and that you get your own credit card back after making a
transaction. The Sun enters your solar third house; you may spend
more time with a relative in the month to come. Saturday looks very
pleasant, with humor and good times spent with a loved one.
PISCES
- Feb. 18-March 19 – Mercury re-enters your sign on Monday;
check your facts before making any declarations. The Sun's entry into
your solar second house of finances may bring a new bookkeeper or
accountant into your life. Your mate drags you off to the movies
Friday night, although the film is nothing you really care for.
Saturday is very pleasant with the Moon in active Sag and making
positive aspects to Venus in the afternoon; treat someone to lunch.

Your Milky Way Horoscope March 9-15, 2014
By
Milky Way Maid
Mercury at 23 degrees
Aquarius squares Saturn in Scorpio at 2:14 am Tuesday.
Call this the Gloomy Gus aspect. The Mercury-Saturn square can make
you feel quite lonely and unwilling to communicate. However, if you
can force yourself to pick up the pen or the phone, your style is
very precise and scientific. You may have to guard against pessimism,
and the day does not favor making a good impression on new people. It
is a good day for holing up in your cubbyhole and getting a good deal
of detailed work done. Saturn is retrograde, which may simply mean
that you have to re-do a task that was not done correctly while
Mercury was retrograde.
The Sun at 23 degrees
Pisces trines Saturn in Scorpio at 5:16 pm Thursday.
Set goals, make grand five-year plans, and work out all the steps you
have to take to get from Point A to Point B. The Sun has separated
from that pie-in-the-sky conjunction to Neptune, so while you have a
bit of Neptunian air in your tires, the rose-colored glasses are
clearing up and you can, as the song goes, see clearly now. The fact
that Saturn is retrograde probably just means that a lesson or skill
needs to be learned, and learned right.
Mercury at 26 degrees
Aquarius trines Mars in Libra at 12:17 pm Friday.
NORMALLY-- Self-confidence and physical energy are high. Sports are
favored especially if they involve hand-eye coordination; examples
are passing a football or tossing darts. Exacting work goes well,
whether it is something like balancing the company books or working
on a hobby. Assertiveness is accented. You can speak up for yourself,
debate an issue, challenge someone, take on a dare, ask for a (ulp)
raise, defend your views, or make a sales presentation. You can
impress others with your confidence, or even with your chutzpah. BUT
Mars is retrograde now, so being rash or daring might get you in hot
water at this time.
NOTE: Daylight Saving
Time begins at 1 AM on Sunday, March 9. Set
your clocks ahead one hour, unless you like to be REALLY early for
everything.

for further clues to how your week will develop. NOTE: some aspects
are exact on a weekend but may find opportunity for expression on the
Friday or Monday nearest the exact aspect. Times given are in Eastern
Standard or Eastern Daylight Savings Time depending on the season.
ARIES
- March 20-April 19 – You may feel the effects of your ruler
Mars having gone retrograde by now, and you are no doubt one unhappy
camper. However, you may find that you have to deal with health
issues that need to be addressed instead of taking your robust health
for granted. Juno's transit thru Aries for the next couple months
helps you tailor your marriage to the personalities of both partners;
as a result you will not feel like a close relationship cramps your
style, but gives you a way to share more of yourself.
TAURUS
- April 20-May 20 – With Jupiter having gone direct in your
solar third house, the house of commerce, you may be able to sell or
broker items that you had sitting around. You may even have to add
items to your inventory. Venus in your solar tenth house may bring
some perks of the job, if not a bonus. Moon in Leo mid-week makes you
prefer to cocoon or possibly host a party Wednesday. You may have to
take the kids to the dentist Friday.
GEMINI
- May 21-June 20 – The Moon is in Gemini for a few hours
Sunday morning. Sunday seems to be ideal for playing doubles tennis,
maybe there is snow on the court but at any rate your energy level
should be good. Ruler Mercury is in a compatible air sign this week
yet, so you are able to put across your ideas to a sympathetic
audience, although Tuesday is least favorable and Friday is most
favorable. Finances can take an upturn Saturday morning.
CANCER
- June 21-July 22 – The Moon is in Cancer from 9:33 am
Sunday till Tuesday night. Sunday night favors a outing to the
cinema. You are in a most optimistic mood Monday morn, and will
probably attract good luck. You could get pretty excitable, tho,
during the morning commute, so keep your wits about you. You can
successfully lay a guilt trip on someone you need to ask a favor of
Tuesday morning.
LEO
- July 23-Aug. 22 – The Moon is in Leo from 10:09 pm Tuesday
till Friday morning. Wednesday morning does not favor asking for
favors. A different way of looking at the world appeals to you
Wednesday night. Thursday is for keeping the nose to the grindstone.
Ceres going retrograde in your solar fourth house may mean having to
pay more attention to proper nutrition. An associate may invite you
use their private getaway for the weekend.
VIRGO
- Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – Now that ruler Mercury is direct, you
may have better success at putting across your views in the
workplace; Tuesday is least favorable and Friday is most favorable
for that. The Moon is in Virgo from 10:17 am Friday till next Sunday
night. Spend Saturday morning with boon companions. Midday Saturday
favors getting together with a mentor or older, wiser brother-in-law.
LIBRA
- Sept. 23-Oct. 22 – Ruler Venus is in a compatible air sign
the rest of the month; relationships with children are more
affectionate, and artistic pursuits can garner popular attention. Be
sure to put your creative efforts before the public. Ceres retrograde
in your solar second house may mean you have to make some adjustment
to bank accounts so that fewer fees are assessed, possibly switching
to a credit union.
SCORPIO
– Oct . 23-Nov. 21 – Co-ruler
Mars having gone retrograde in your twelfth house could mean that you
have to reconsider whether your new regimen is effective in getting
you to reach your goals, whether that is weight loss or improved
fitness or both. You can find some good tips on Lifescript.com.
Ceres is retrograde in Scorpio and before the end of the month will
re-enter Libra; your powers of recuperation may require time off from
work or intense therapy.
SAGITTARIUS
- Nov. 22-Dec. 21 – Your sense of optimism and generosity of
spirit are high Monday morning when ruler Jupiter is conjunct the
Moon in Cancer; you may surprise yourself with what comes out of your
mouth or your wallet. You may be a bit indulgent with employees
Saturday, perhaps treating them to brunch. Tuesday morning may be
your best day this week, with the Moon in compatible Leo and nice
trines boosting your ability to lead and inspire others.
CAPRICORN
- Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – You tend to really hate it when your
ruler Saturn is retrograde; you feel like the rules of the game have
all been changed and you have no rulebook to go by. You will just
have to set up your own schedules for work, payments, and procedures.
You will need to map out the baby steps toward your long-term goals.
I think it would be a good idea to consider setting aside an hour or
a morning a week when you will not be disturbed by phone calls, etc,
so you can push through with paperwork.
AQUARIUS
- Jan. 20-Feb. 17 – Saturn is your co-ruler so please read
Capricorn, too. On Sunday personal finances may flow easily, perhaps
too easily – right out of your wallet or hands, so stick to the
shopping list. The asteroid Juno enters your solar third house of
commerce this month; you may find a partnership helpful in handling
brokering or running an online shop. Friday is the best day for
anything from craft work to handling details to sports that demand
good hand-eye coordination.
PISCES
- Feb. 18-March 19 – The Moon is in compatible Cancer on
Sunday thru Tuesday. Your energy is good for dancing Sunday evening.
Tuesday morning is favorable for relationships in general and for
getting on with the boss in particular. A family talent for a craft
business or hobby may express itself Friday, and it might surprise
you to see how good you could be at it. Saturday is favorable for
relaxing with your mate and friends.
