However, the real Aries gift for leading and inspiring others can be expressed through that Mercury so that others willingly follow where you lead. In everyday life, Mercury in Aries is original, a seeker of novel ideas and news, witty, able to think on his or her feet. The downside is that you want your own way at all times, and want your orders followed immediately. Good at leadership in general, whether conducting a band or heading a company. Famous people with Mercury in Aries include: TV comedian Carol Burnett, silent comedian Charlie Chaplin, astronomer Copernicus, conductor Arturo Toscanini, actress Hayley Mills, playwright William Shakespeare, and painter Vincent Van Gogh. 

 

The Sun at 19 degrees Aries opposes Mars in Libra at 5:04 pm Tuesday. The opposition is projection; we perceive others as being angry, argumentative, or competitive, but it is our own such traits that are yearning for expression. You may see the light re what your course of action is going to lead you to, and decide to shape up and aim for a higher level of conduct. 

 

The Sun at 12 degrees Aries is conjunct Uranus at 3:08 am Wednesday. The Sun with unique Uranus can make one a rebel, eccentric, a brilliant inventor, a natural at electronics or astrology or psychology. And you may be a perfectly normal person but if this transit affects your personal planets, something you say may be heard as something totally off the wall. 

 

Mercury at 22 degrees Pisces trines Saturn in Scorpio at 11:02 pm Wednesday. Mercury and Saturn work well together on difficult, tedious projects like auditing the books, writing a scientific paper, editing, crunching numbers, wading through statistical data.

Mercury at 11 degrees Pisces trines Jupiter in Cancer at 9:11 am Wednesday. Jupiter is the higher octave of Mercury since both are mental planets; that means this should be a fine day for studies, for enrolling in the right college program for you, or for finding a teacher or tutor or guru. 

 

Mercury at 13 degrees Pisces sextiles Pluto in Capricorn at 1:30 am Friday. Mercury and Pluto together are excellent for digging down thru research files, doing forensic accounting, or any other type of detective work. 

 

Venus at 22 degrees Aquarius trines Mars in Libra at 3:05 pm Saturday. As you can probably guess Venus and Mars in any harmonious aspect favor romantic relationships, or actually any type of close partnership. It is even good for buying or selling, if they rule the buyer and seller in a horary chart. 

 

Venus at 22 degrees Aquarius squares Saturn in Scorpio at 5:14 pm Saturday. Venus with Saturn can be either good or bad; it can mean a difficult time in a relationship, or it can mean formalizing the relationship with an engagement or wedding. CAPRICORN - Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – The Moon is in Capricorn from 4:03 pm Sunday till Tuesday night. Relationships late Sunday night are apt to be strained, but probably only a matter of fatigue, so get your rest and deal with things another time. Early risers on Monday can take care of a lot of correspondence. Mid-morning might find you over-reacting to some issues about your home. Try to relax with a nice mystery novel later in the day. Early risers on Tuesday set a heavy agenda for themselves and get most of it done.

AQUARIUS - Jan. 20-Feb. 17 – The Moon is in Aquarius from 6:39 pm Tuesday till Thursday night. False starts mar Tuesday night. Wednesday morning is excellent for taking a class or for a meeting of the minds in general. You enjoy being able to personalize a program or app that afternoon. Your energy is good on Thursday but the Moon being void almost all day does not favor new business or work matters. Venus is conjunct the Moon on Thursday; ask for that favor and you shall receive.

PISCES - Feb. 18-March 19 – The Moon is in Pisces from 8:10 pm till Saturday night. Friday is a lazy day feeling, although by afternoon you may feel like exploring new places. Dinner out with your mate is fine, but you really enjoy conversation or listening to a lecture Friday night. Saturday morning favors a serious discussion with a mentor type. Saturday might see matters related to a family business or legacy in progress.

Mercury at 23 degrees Aquarius squares Saturn in Scorpio at 2:14 am Tuesday. Call this the Gloomy Gus aspect. The Mercury-Saturn square can make you feel quite lonely and unwilling to communicate. However, if you can force yourself to pick up the pen or the phone, your style is very precise and scientific. You may have to guard against pessimism, and the day does not favor making a good impression on new people. It is a good day for holing up in your cubbyhole and getting a good deal of detailed work done. Saturn is retrograde, which may simply mean that you have to re-do a task that was not done correctly while Mercury was retrograde. 

 

The Sun at 23 degrees Pisces trines Saturn in Scorpio at 5:16 pm Thursday. Set goals, make grand five-year plans, and work out all the steps you have to take to get from Point A to Point B. The Sun has separated from that pie-in-the-sky conjunction to Neptune, so while you have a bit of Neptunian air in your tires, the rose-colored glasses are clearing up and you can, as the song goes, see clearly now. The fact that Saturn is retrograde probably just means that a lesson or skill needs to be learned, and learned right.
