Your Milky Way Horoscope March 16-22, 2014
By
Milky Way Maid
Mercury enters Pisces
at 6:24 pm Monday. (Mercury was
in Pisces briefly in February before going retrograde into Aquarius.
Now Mercury is in Pisces for good until April 7.) Mercury
in Pisces is more intuitive than academic, although natives can get
good grades in school due to a very good memory. Mercury here can
receive sharp perceptions, but have trouble communicating their
insights clearly because of emotional baggage. Nevertheless, Pisces
Mercury can rise above fears, and invite others to experience their
psychic impressions. Cling to ideals, which have a healing quality in
a chaotic world. Mercury in Pisces can be very creative, although
natives often need a period of gestation for their ideas to percolate
to the surface. Famous people with Mercury in Pisces
include: Leontyne Price, Victor Hugo, Abraham Lincoln, Eugene
McCarthy, Earl Warren, Sidney Poitier, Robert Frost, and W E B
DuBois.
Venus at 11 degrees
Aquarius sextiles Uranus in Aries at 3 pm Tuesday.
A positive aspect like this between Venus and Uranus can bring a
sudden attraction to a foreigner or someone with an accent, and end
more happily than with the square or opposition. Alas a relationship
is likely to not last much longer than it would with a stressful
aspect – but you can still try to nail down that charming stranger.
The Sun enters Aries
at 12:57 pm Thursday, marking the Vernal Equinox.
Sun in Aries is active, a self-starter, an igniter – someone who
initiates contact and projects. Aries natives like to feel
independent, even tho they may wind up in a service job such as
waiter or waitress so that they can change employers more easily when
they need a change. Aries is not really good working as part of a
team, unless it is to carry out a solo function such as sales,
delivery, etc. Needs a way to express their dynamic energy, because
being chained to a desk will not cut it with them. The Sun in Aries
is assertive, kinetic, fiery, pioneering, adventuresome, competitive,
ambitious, and inspiring. Needs to be his own boss, have his own home
and family. Tends to jump into a situation before sizing things up or
getting pointers from a pro. In other words, does not always look
before leaping. Famous people with the Sun in Aries
include: singer Doris Day,
comedian Charlie Chaplin, Arturo Toscanini, patriot Thomas Jefferson,
painter Vincent Van Gogh, composer Johann Sebastian Bach, astronaut
Virgil Grissom, Henry Luce, poet Robert Frost, and J William
Fulbright.
Mercury at 6 degrees
Pisces is conjunct Neptune again at 4:16 pm Saturday.
The Sun was conjunct Neptune on Feb. 23, so this could be the arrival
of some news (Mercury) related to a person (Sun) known to you,
depending on where it is in your own chart. In regards to any
personal business, it definitely does NOT favor signing any contracts
or estimates; something is sure to be left out or unclear. And you
are likely to fill the gaps with wishful thinking rather than facts.

Readers
can follow not only their Sun sign horoscope but also their Ascendant
for further clues to how your week will develop. NOTE: some aspects
are exact on a weekend but may find opportunity for expression on the
Friday or Monday nearest the exact aspect. Times given are in Eastern
Standard or Eastern Daylight Savings Time depending on the season.
ARIES
- March 20-April 19 – Monday can be rather stressful with
new goals set out for you at work. Tuesday afternoon has Venus
laughing, possibly from jokes told by a friend. Wednesday looks
pretty murky. The Aries ingress on Thursday favors getting business
loans, as you impress the banker with your serious and detailed
plans. Midday or early pm on Friday is really pretty good for either
leadership or holding a brainstorming session.
TAURUS
- April 20-May 20 – Sunday's Full Moon in compatible Virgo
looks favorable for the next two weeks; your mate is secure in his
leadership, too. Mercury re-enters Pisces, your solar eleventh house;
you may reconnect with friends who had seemingly gone into hiding. A
charming foreigner at work may not be a big supporter of your record
Tuesday. Financial matters are stressful on Friday; cash machines may
not work, or a deposit may not have cleared yet. A friend's message
is badly garbled Saturday.
GEMINI
- May 21-June 20 – Sunday's Full Moon is favorable for home
and family matters, although work demands may cut into time spent
with family. Mercury re-enters your career sector but that may not be
a good thing. A friend may introduce you to a charming foreigner on
Tuesday. You socialize more in the coming month, possibly because
you initiate day trips or other outings together. Be alert to
confusing memos from bosses going into the weekend.
CANCER
- June 21-July 22 – A Full Moon on Sunday in compatible
Virgo accents communications and education; you might focus on a
child's applications to schools for next year. There are confusing
influences if you are looking at colleges, so make sure that their
written instructions on applications are correct. The Sun enters your
career sector Thursday; the tempo may quicken, and interdepartmental
competitions pique your interest.
LEO
- July 23-Aug. 22 – Sunday's Full Moon in Virgo puts a happy
accent on finances. You love your mate dearly, but this month he may
sound like a dithering idiot. The Aries ingress on Thursday is
positive for new starts in areas like legal matters, college, law, or
starting a new website. Finances could be stressful on Friday, with
things going wrong like a cash machine not working or a computer
server going down.
VIRGO
- Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – The Moon is in Virgo from Sunday till
Sunday night. The Full Moon at 26 degrees Virgo is exact at 1:08 pm
Sunday. You may have to twist an arm but you succeed in getting a
favor returned Sunday. Foreign investments are not favored Monday.
Communications can be vague but awfully inspiring Wednesday. Family
matters are confused and stressful Friday night. A sibling may wish
to kiss and make up Saturday afternoon.
LIBRA
- Sept. 23-Oct. 22 – The Moon is in Libra from 8:46 pm
Sunday till early Wednesday. A daughter says something sweet and
loving Monday morning. Someone could upset your applecart Monday
evening. Your emotions are stirred up Tuesday night. On Saturday
morning, a relative or neighbor may introduce you to a charming
stranger. Saturday afternoon favors an outing with a daughter. The
Aries ingress may be marked by pessimism regarding your finances.
SCORPIO
- Oct. 23-Nov. 21 – Monday could be a very active day
affecting children; possibly scholarships are on the agenda. The Moon
is in Scorpio from 5:13 am Wednesday till midday Friday. Wednesday
morn is buoyed by offers of help; the afternoon floats along on a
wave of idealism. You'll look good to the boss if you go in early
Thursday to tame the paperwork dragon. Career questions could get an
OK from the boss before the day is out on Thursday. Saturday
afternoon has a Moon-Venus sextile; treat a friend to lunch.
SAGITTARIUS
- Nov. 22-Dec. 21 – The Moon is in Sag from 11:39 am Friday
thru most of the weekend. Friday afternoon favors holding a
brainstorming session. Friday night is fine for cocooning with some
movies. Spend time with children Saturday morning; their jokes and
games will do you good. Saturday afternoon favors shopping with a
relative, or just spending some quality time together.
CAPRICORN
- Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – Sunday morning favors sharing brunch
with an old friend, possibly an old lawyer friend. Mercury re-enters
your communications house but confusion lurks. Use caution Wednesday
if you receive letters or emails from a scammer using the address of
someone you know. The Sun enters your solar fourth house on Thursday,
accenting family matters; you may host a charming foreign exchange
student.
AQUARIUS
- Jan. 20-Feb. 17 – A new neighbor may have a charming
accent; hold an informal party to get acquainted. Mercury re-enters
your money sector but confusion lurks; be sure to check receipts and
statements, and that you get your own credit card back after making a
transaction. The Sun enters your solar third house; you may spend
more time with a relative in the month to come. Saturday looks very
pleasant, with humor and good times spent with a loved one.
PISCES
- Feb. 18-March 19 – Mercury re-enters your sign on Monday;
check your facts before making any declarations. The Sun's entry into
your solar second house of finances may bring a new bookkeeper or
accountant into your life. Your mate drags you off to the movies
Friday night, although the film is nothing you really care for.
Saturday is very pleasant with the Moon in active Sag and making
positive aspects to Venus in the afternoon; treat someone to lunch.
