Your Milky Way Horoscope June 15-21, 2014
By

Dear
Readers-- Please visit the website of the National Blood Clot
Alliance at StopTheClot.org to learn more about blood clots and when
you might need to see a doctor about it.
Father's Day on June
15 features a Moon-Jupiter opposition.
Dads might get overemotional about their kids or meaningful gifts
received. Conversely, things going wrong may cause dads or moms to
blow their stacks or over-react in other ways. So be gentle with Dad
and go along with whatever he wants to do; he really loves you, you
know.
Mercury
retrogrades back into Gemini at 6:05 am Tuesday.
We will have to make corrections to paperwork, call people back to
cancel or reschedule appointments, or meet with professional people
to clarify what we expect from each other.
Venus at 24 degrees
Taurus sextiles sugar-daddy Jupiter in Cancer at 5:16 am Wednesday.
Wishes can come true under this
transit, so be careful what you wish for. This transit can make you a
little too generous, so think things over before you give away any
fur coats or diamonds. You might overdo in the food or drink
department, especially with sweets. But on the whole, you will be in
a very nice, contented mood, and may even feel like you are on
vacation.
The Sun at 28 degrees
Gemini is conjunct retrograde Mercury at 6:50 pm Thursday. This
is an important point in the Mercury cycle so watch for any changes
of direction in the stock market or in commodities prices. And hey,
if you read my article on late degrees, you might also recognize this
transit as a fine time to start that novel you have been meaning to
write.
The
Sun enters Cancer at 6:51 am Saturday.
People with the Sun in Cancer are either a big baby, wanting to be
taken care of, or everybody's mama who takes care of others. Cancers
are extremely proud of wherever they come from, and readily wave the
flag no matter how long it has been since they lived there. A mature
Cancer personality is very sensitive to the emotional pains of
others, and can empathize and validate others' feelings. Cancer is a
very active sign since it is one of the cardinals; they are always
doing something. They like all sorts of antiques and anything
historical, which may include the moth-eaten old doll from childhood.
Famous people with the Sun in Cancer include: comedian Phyllis
Diller, rocker Ringo Starr, game show mogul Merv Griffin, pianist Van
Cliburn, artist Rembrandt, Jean Jacques Rousseau, Helen Keller,
Gilda Radner, Supreme Court justice Sonia Sotomayor, PT Barnum, and
Arianna Huffington.

ancient astronomy. The article on Pope Francis is here:

Readers
can follow not only their Sun sign horoscope but also their Ascendant
for further clues to how your week will develop. NOTE: some aspects
are exact on a weekend but may find opportunity for expression on the
Friday or Monday nearest the exact aspect. Times given are in Eastern
Standard or Eastern Daylight Savings Time depending on the season.
ARIES
- March 20-April 19 – The Moon is in Aries from 5:26 pm
Thursday till late Saturday. The Sun-Mercury conjunction on Thursday
directly affects your communications; perhaps you need to finish or
edit a manuscript. Friday could be stressful, with deadlines pressing
you to make decisions regarding career or partnerships. Dinner hour
on Saturday favors catching up on news and gossip with your guests.
Juno enters your solar third house this week; communications are key
in relationships, and you enjoy using someone as a sounding board.
TAURUS
- April 20-May 20 – Best
days this week are probably when the Moon is in Pisces, plus your
ruler Venus is very happy Wednesday morning. The Moon enters
Taurus at 11:03 pm Saturday, and remains there thru the weekend. Not
much I can say about less than an hour, except that you will feel
more like yourself Sunday morning. Juno enters your solar second
house this week, which favors finding a financial partner who can
help you organize the bill-paying and tracking of expenses. You may
even be able to afford some indulgences after cutting out the waste.
GEMINI
- May 21-June 20 – Juno enters Gemini this week! Right now
you want a beau who is mentally stimulating more than anything else.
Explore taking a class together, taking day trips, or reading the
same book. You may also at the same time develop more self-reliance
as you grow into yourself while still sharing a part of your life
with someone else. The Sun-Mercury conjunction on Thursday may be
significant for you, so by all means start a writing class or
project, or set aside time to write such as at a writers' Meetup,
etc.
CANCER
- June 21-July 22 – Best day may be when the Moon is in
fellow-water-sign Pisces; Wednesday morning may bring a gift. Juno's
entry into your solar twelfth house could pull you into an unhealthy
savior-victim dynamic, but also opens up opportunities to help others
in a professional role. Relationships need to have a normal amount of
give-and-take. This is also a good time for developing artistic
talents as you allow subconscious material to find expression and
release.
LEO
- July 23-Aug. 22 –
Juno's entry into your solar eleventh house this week ushers in a
period when you explore other arrangements in relationships, almost
like going through the a-la-carte menu at a cafeteria. You want to
balance your own needs for freedom and your comfort with a more
traditional ways. Best day may be Saturday night when spent chatting
with friends.
VIRGO
- Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – Juno's entry into your solar tenth
house ushers in a period when you take relationships more seriously,
in fact you may view it as another job. You may also begin a career
in the field of managing joint resources, investments, or taxes,
possibly in a family business. Best day could be Thursday when the
Sun-Mercury conjunction may throw a lot of light on career matters.
LIBRA
- Sept. 23-Oct. 22 – Juno's entry into your solar ninth
house will probably help you find a capable advisor to guide you
through legal or publishing matters. You might find that you choose
someone who works in a partnership, such as a married couple who are
both lawyers. This transit also spurs a hunger for new adventures and
travel, so you may have to get a new passport in order. Best day may
be Wednesday morning's Venus-Jupiter sextile when a career perk may
be granted you.
SCORPIO
- Oct. 23-Nov. 21 - Juno's entry into your solar eighth house
this week may coincide with hidden issues coming to the surface.
Scorpio always has issues related to power-sharing, trust, privacy,
etc., but this transit is sure to force you to deal with them. Best
day may come midday Monday when ruler Mars trines the Moon; your
physical energies get recharged with an emotional lift. Also you may
rather enjoy facing a worthy challenge on Friday.
SAGITTARIUS
- Nov. 22-Dec. 21 – Juno's entry into your solar seventh
house this week means that you increasingly insist on equitable
splits of shared duties and obligations. You will have to learn to
compromise and to purposely seek out the win-win solution. Best day
may be Wednesday morning when ruler Jupiter makes a friendly sextile
to Venus; you might make a sound investment decision in terms of a
mutual fund or an annuity.
CAPRICORN
- Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – The Moon begins the week in Capricorn
but goes void in the wee hours; Cappy might be a bit emotionally
capricious though. Juno's entry into your solar sixth house this week
could bring more work activities that are done as part of a team,
possibly as part of a family business. Best day of the week may be on
Wednesday night when you realize the benefits that hard-won
experience has given you.
AQUARIUS
- Jan. 20-Feb. 17 – The Moon is in Aquarius from 1:27 pm
Sunday till Tuesday afternoon. The Moon makes no aspects Sunday while
in Aquarius, but midday Monday revs up your energy level; make your
to-do list extra ambitious. Appointments may be broken Monday
afternoon, and that could be disappointing. Work on relationships
Tuesday morning, since goodwill and communications are favorable.
Juno's entry into your solar fifth house brings more fun in general,
more artistic creativity, and enthusiastic activities as a couple.
PISCES
- Feb. 18-March 19 – The Moon is in Pisces from 2:26 pm
Tuesday till Thursday afternoon. Early risers on Wednesday may find
good luck on their morning stop at the convenience mart. You make
productive use of Saturn energy Wednesday night by planning your
summer schedule. Friday afternoon and evening are pretty frustrating
and could end in an upsetting exchange with a total stranger; it
might be best to leave the scene if things are obviously not
congenial. Saturday dinner hour is favorable for good food and good
times with relatives or neighbors. Juno's entry into your solar
fourth house may call on you to be extra supportive, or even become a
caregiver to a family member.
