Your Milky Way Horoscope Nov. 24-30, 2013

By Milky Way Maid

The Sun at 2 degrees Sag is square Neptune in Pisces at 12:53 pm Sunday. Ooh, Sun and Neptune together are not good. You might get lost when driving somewhere, and that is the least innocuous thing that could happen. Other possibilities include being scammed, getting sick with something that is hard to diagnose or pinpoint the cause of, or you could have your deep, dark secret revealed to the world in a most embarrassing way. Sun is also square Pallas in Virgo.

Mercury (direct this time) at 16 degrees Scorpio is conjunct Saturn at 8:55 pm Monday. When we last saw this aspect on Oct. 29, Mercury was retrograde. So try to recall if there were any serious discussions that day, and what the topic was. You may have more information to go on at this point, and can undoubtedly correct the data and move forward with a better plan. They are square Juno at 15 degrees Aquarius, so one partner may fluctuate between detachment and intensity, and just when things start heating up, one is called in to a work emergency. Arrgghh!! Will have to figure out a way to accommodate each other's schedules, possibly with the aid of a personal assistant.

Mercury at 18 degrees Scorpio is sextile Venus in Capricorn at 9:45 pm Wednesday. Mercury in positive aspect to Venus turns on the charm, which includes perfect manners, compliments, sweet nothings, possibly a love note or two, etc. Even if you are normally unexpressive, you will be able to stammer out those three little words. You may be able to get a good recipe for a sweet treat, shared by a dear friend. You may take a short trip with a loved one, possibly to enjoy scenic views, or to check out early holiday decorations. Take a camera along, because the scenery may offer a memorable moment.

Mercury at 19 degrees Scorpio trines Jupiter in Cancer at 2:24 am Thursday. Mercury and Jove are both mental planets, so positive aspects favor anything related to education, any course of study or a seminar or private study. You will pick up the material very easily. On another level, the two planets together spell joviality, having the gift of gab, so that you successfully schmooze with the boss for example at the company dinner. You are also optimistic that things will work out in your life in general. You can handle even the most difficult problems with style. Buying or selling real estate or other major investments is favored, as is handling any legal matters.

Venus at 19 degrees Capricorn opposes Jupiter in Cancer at 7:01 am Thursday. In some ways this can be a sad aspect, even though the two major benefics are involved. You may be in love with someone who is far beyond your social class or otherwise unreachable, and that is truly tragic if you both decide to let love die rather than try to make it work. One can start new relationships under this transit, or look deeper under the superficial shell of the loved one. Can be a pleasant day if you avoid overdoing guilty pleasures to the point of getting sick.

The Moon is in Libra on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day. We will ooh and aah at especially artistic floats in the morning parades, and later at the beautifully set table for the holiday feast. Use your best dishes and napkins to set the table, and pick up some flowers for a centerpiece. With Vesta and Ceres both in lovely Libra for the holiday, her feast is sure to be spectacular.

The Sun at 8 degrees Sag trines Uranus in Aries at 1:25 pm Saturday. Sun-Uranus aspects put the wind in your hair as you blast yourself out of a rut. You get encouragement or approval for your (possibly quirky) uniqueness, or you may make others laugh when making them see things from a different perspective. Be careful though, because the Sun is square Chiron in Pisces; don't fall off your motorcycle! You are excited and excitable, dancing around your new toy or exploring new terrain. Possible interest in arcane subjects like astrology, computer and other tech stuff, psychology, hypnotism, or signing up for a class or session with a practitioner.

Readers can follow not only their Sun sign horoscope but also their Ascendant for further clues to how your week will develop. NOTE: some aspects are exact on a weekend but may find opportunity for expression on the Friday or Monday nearest the exact aspect. Times given are in Eastern Standard or Eastern Daylight Savings Time depending on the season.

ARIES - March 20-April 19 – You get away with all kinds of shenanigans on Sunday. Early risers on Thursday have helpers to put on a special holiday breakfast; this is followed by making wisecracks about all the floats on the televised parades. Friday shopping is frustrating and work is pointless because you cannot get hold of anybody. On Saturday you crack everybody up, possibly by putting a funny video clip on the internet.

TAURUS - April 20-May 20 – Your mate may want to have a serious chat Monday night, so lend a sympathetic ear even though it may be confusing when he shifts from cool logic to rampant emotion and back again. You might elect to have your holiday dinner on Tuesday; the Moon is in compatible Virgo, and in nice aspect to both Venus and Jupiter. Thursday is not bad, but the table may be so pretty that you hate to dig in and break up the picture-perfect image. Let your mate sleep in on Saturday.

GEMINI - May 21-June 20 – You have a rather idealistic picture of the perfect holiday that you want to achieve for Thursday, but give yourself a break if it falls short a bit. At any rate, you will put in a lot of effort on Tuesday to spruce up the house and decorate. A rather serious meeting may be held at work either late Monday or early Tuesday. The holiday itself has the Moon in compatible Libra, so you keep the flow of light-hearted chatter going very easily.

CANCER - June 21-July 22 – Sunday's preliminary seating chart for the holiday will have to be redone more than once. You may get stressed out by too many errands Monday; take a tip from Santa and make your list, check it twice. Tuesday favors showering the object of your desire with flowers, compliments and love notes. Stick to routine matters on Friday. You may have a Saturday session with a practitioner of hypnotism, Geo-Trans, or other system that blasts you out of your rut.

LEO - July 23-Aug. 22 – The Moon is in Leo on Sunday, but is void-of-course all day; stick to routine matters. On Monday your mate addresses serious matters, which is good, but the cold logic used can be unbearable. On Tuesday you may be prevailed upon to share your secret recipe for a beloved holiday treat. Thursday is definitely a day to practice pushing yourself away from the table, lest you overdo to the point of getting sick. You laugh with pleasure Saturday when one of the kids posts a funny clip online.

VIRGO - Aug. 23-Sept. 22 – The Moon is in Virgo from 7:11 am Monday till Wednesday afternoon. Be careful what you eat at lunch Monday, lest you set off your allergies. You feel so unappreciated that afternoon. Love notes and compliments fill the air on Tuesday. Offers to help (with the Turkey Day duties?) come in Tuesday night. You may have to make another place at the table in return, tho. Pallas has entered Virgo, so you are probably the Ask-the-Expert that everyone calls for details on the correct way to prepare the turkey.

LIBRA - Sept. 23-Oct. 22 – The Moon is in Libra from 5:00 pm Wednesday till late Friday. Wednesday morning finds you energized and ready to start preparations for the big day. An agent of change may walk into your life Thursday, but don't be alarmed. With Vesta and Ceres both in your sign for the holiday, your feast is sure to be spectacular. Friday is spent ruing how you fell off your diet.

SCORPIO - Oct. 23-Nov. 21 – Thursday finds you in an optimistic mood, also eager to learn all there is to know about arcane subjects. The Moon is in Scorpio from 11:03 pm Friday thru the weekend. On Saturday someone may give you a good tip regarding a lucrative job opening; maybe you can sign on as last-minute holiday help. You enjoy doing puzzles or reading a mystery in the afternoon.

SAGITTARIUS - Nov. 22-Dec. 21 – On Monday and Tuesday the Moon is in compatible Gemini, when you probably contact everyone who is expected to attend the holiday gathering to coordinate travel and schedules. The second half of the week may find you spending as much time with friends as with relatives; perhaps there are too many miles between you and siblings this year. Stick to routine matters on Friday. A child makes you break up laughing on Saturday.

CAPRICORN - Dec. 22-Jan. 19 – You are too likely to get hopelessly lost on Sunday, so leave the driving to someone who has been at your destination many times. Tuesday is probably your best day of the week, with the Moon in compatible Virgo and many lovely, easy transits involving friends and your beloved mate. Thursday is sure to be a day of hustle and bustle to get the feast ready and wait on your visitors. Friday can be frustrating and it may be better to stay in rather than shop.

AQUARIUS - Jan. 20-Feb. 17 – Long-distance calls keep your phone busy the second half of the week. The holiday favors schmoozing with the boss, at least by making an unofficial phone call to wish him a lovely feast. Thursday is definitely a day to practice pushing yourself away from the table, lest you overdo to the point of getting sick. Saturday's Moon in Scorpio favors shopping with the help of a friend who makes it a fun expedition.

PISCES - Feb. 18-March 19 – On Sunday, you are an example of someone who does not see himself clearly, and so your ambitions could be totally unrealistic. Monday is good for facing medical test results with a cool head. Thursday may not be lucky for romantic matters. Chiron goes direct in your sign this weekend, so do be aware of safety issues re handling the stuffing of your bird, and in storing leftovers.
